> 3 dayThis ethernet cable is a great addition to my arsenal. Most importantly, I tested it, and iperf showed up to 947 Mbits/sec over this cable while connecting through a gigabit switch, which is as fast as Ive seen through that switch. Ill update when I can test through a 2.5 Gb connection. The flat shape of this makes it perfect for situations like going under a rug, though it does make it hard to make compound turns through tight spaces that arent flat to the end. I do wish Id gotten a longer length because of this, as the times it shines probably also require more than 6 feet. Fit and finish look good and materials sturdy.

> 3 dayThis is a braided flat Cat 8 Ethernet cable. What Is Cat8 Cable? It is the latest network copper cable, that permits the highest speeds. As technology advances the demand for increased data speeds will continue to grow and manufacturers will continue to develop twisted pair cables that can support even higher speeds. Here are the current Category standards for twisted pair cables: Cat3 – 1 MHz, 10 Mbps Cat5 & Cat5e – 100 MHz, 100 Mbps Cat6 – 250 MHz, 1 Gbps Cat7 – 600 MHz, 10 Gbps Cat7A – 1000 MHz, 10 Gbps+ Cat8 – 2000MHz, 40Gbps Category 8 Standard As you can see by the Category standards above, you can expect CAT 8 to provide the best frequency characteristics, therefore supporting higher speeds of data. Cat8 is capable of supporting bandwidths of up to 2 GHz (2000 MHz) for up to 30 meters of cabling. Cat8 can also support 25Gbps/ 40Gbs speeds up to a maximum channel length of 30 meters. The physical appearance of Cat8 cable is similar to lower category cables and still terminated in RJ45 connections. In the case of this cable, it is flat and braided end-to-end, permitting great durability. The RJ45 connected flawlessly with my router and PC with a click. I am not sure if copper wires will continue to evolve into higher speeds and eventually into a cat 9 cable, my guess is that the following step would be an affordable fiber optical Ethernet cable for general use of the public.

> 3 dayI needed an ethernet cable that could run from my smart tv to my router and this works perfectly! Further, I have cable raceways to hide my cables and the size was perfect for storing it in the raceway with my thicker cables. As for speed, I havent noticed any issues yet, but I will update the review if I encounter any. For now, though this is definitely a good cable!

> 3 dayI appreciate the sturdiness of this braided ethernet cable. Length suits my needs appropriately, and works well for router to console use for wired Lan.

> 3 dayUse case: streaming 8k content in a residential environment. Pros: - High build quality - Consistent, stable data transfers - No interference issues - Flat design Cons: - The only negative identified was also a positive; the flat design. Great for long cable runs. Not so great for tight spaces where RJ45 connects with hardware. As long as you have a few inches available behind your chosen device, you’ll love this cable.

> 3 dayWhat it is: 6 ft snag less Cat8 Shielded Ethernet flat cable with woven nylon sheathing rated at 40Gbps. Why I like it: As an IT Pro, I’m always looking to improve reliability and performance on my client’s networks as well as my own. This high quality cable tests very well—I don’t have gear faster than 10Gbps, the shielded plugs and boots are assembled nicely. These are a great addition to your network supplies if your install or cable routing does not require compound bends—a round cable would would work much better (only reason for 4 stars). Would highly recommend with this performance and at this price point.
