These cabinet locks will do the job. The package arrived opened. So I figured I might as well give it try. The locks felt a little cheap and were a little difficult to maneuver. We bought another similar, but slightly more expensive cabinet lock that we like much better.

Super easy to install compared to most baby-proofing products. Use your sense to know if it’s appropriate for your cabinet - you must have 2 looped handles to lock together. Been using daily for a couple of months and seems to be holding up. They feel kind of cheap, so I may review again after a year or so to see if they actually hold up.

Keeps my kiddo out, and so far hasnt figured out how to open them - so it does the job.

I have to admit, we didnt buy this product for children at all... Our cat had started learning how to open cabinets and that just didnt work for us. I bought these cabinet locks so the cat couldnt break into the cabinets we thought were secure. While it is a bit annoying to have to undo these locks every time we want to get in the cabinets, they are better than having to drill holes into the wood to place magnets on all the doors. Of course, the downside is that you need to have two cabinet doors next to each other to use these locks. We have a few doors that dont have mirrored pairs and these locks are useless for them. Bear that in mind when considering these; pets or kids alike.

The best child proof cabinet locks I’ve found. Love these. We use to have safety first locks that didn’t fit our small knobs well. We would adjust them tight and they damaged our cabinets. Our second toddler would pop them off, so I had to find different locks. These locks stay on and are really awesome.

Useful on some cabinets but not as many as I expected. Very easy to install yet fortunately looks a little intimidating so the toddlers havent tried to force them open - so far anyway!

Weve had some locks that look basically like this for a while and theyve been great. After about 4 years one of them broke so I went to replace it. I couldnt find a brand name on it but this one looked close enough. When I got it, it was clear that they were supposed to be very much like the one I had — the shape was exactly the same, except that this one has a brand name on it. The problem is that the feel of the lock is a lot worse. Its a lot stiffer than the one I was replacing which makes it a lot harder for this adult to actually use! I wish I could figure out what brand this is a copycat of so I could just get more of them...

So recently my cat decided that my bathroom cabinet under the sink was the greatest most interesting place to go explore. He even accidentally got himself stuck in there one day and I had no idea he was still in there. Thankfully I noticed after about 5 minutes and got him out but I was not about to let that happen at a time when I wasnt home. So for a great price and I have 3 more should I need to cat proof anything else this is great!

This is effective at keeping out my 3 and 4-year-old. They were able to get into some of the other basic locking mechanisms, but not able to open these yet. You can slide them in the wrong way. If so, it can be a pain to get them undone. That is the only reason they are not a 5.

these are great. keep in mind that they are only for handles that are 5 inches apart or less.
