> 3 dayI have to admit, we didnt buy this product for children at all... Our cat had started learning how to open cabinets and that just didnt work for us. I bought these cabinet locks so the cat couldnt break into the cabinets we thought were secure. While it is a bit annoying to have to undo these locks every time we want to get in the cabinets, they are better than having to drill holes into the wood to place magnets on all the doors. Of course, the downside is that you need to have two cabinet doors next to each other to use these locks. We have a few doors that dont have mirrored pairs and these locks are useless for them. Bear that in mind when considering these; pets or kids alike.

> 3 dayI have to say these child locks are definitely child proof...I bought a different set before I came across these and I have to say they werent up to par. My kid whos 3 just opened them right up.i bought them at low³$ so yeah stay away from those, definitely 1 star for them. But these here I definitely recommend specially if ur little one likes to get into things.

> 3 dayThe locks work great - cannot speak to toddlers but they keep our cats out of the cabinet where their snack bag is. Only downside is that the plastic gives out fairly quickly - bought in September 20 and the final of the 5 just broke in June 21 (always used 1 at a time, average lifespan was 2 months). Still, okay at that price point, can easily be replaced.

> 3 daySometimes the part you squeeze to open can get stuck or be a little hard to open but they work. The only child lock I’ve purchased that my kids haven’t figured out.

> 3 daythese are great. keep in mind that they are only for handles that are 5 inches apart or less.

> 3 dayEasy to use child locks. I use them on the panty, trash can and under sink cabinets. They seem to be holding up well against a 15 month old who is always trying to open the cabinets. These are failry long so fitment shouldnt be an issue.

> 3 dayThey work well. Better than the rest of the locks I have tried. The lock system is good. We were able to put it on one of our shoe racks which did not have handles rather it had knobs. But they fit just fine.

> 3 dayI tried to install magnetic cabinet locks in my kitchen, but due to the way the doors are made, it’s impossible to install them in a way that works. These are not as visually appealing as having an invisible interior lock, but they’re sturdy and do the job. My very determined 16-month old has not been able to wrench them off the cabinets yet, and not for lack of trying. They’re easy to remove when I want to access my cabinets and easy to relock when I need them locked. Simple and effective.

> 3 dayI have these installed in my kitchen. If Ive been washing dishes and my hands are even slightly wet, it is very hard to release the lock to slide it off. I have to dry my hands really well in order to use them. One of the pieces also bent. So far weve been able to still use it, but it could break at any time. Id recommend, if you purchase this, to not push it all the way to your cabinetry hardware, otherwise it is even more difficult to remove. I push the lock to about an inch away from the hardware. My baby still cant open the cabinet enough to grab something, but it also makes it easier for me to open.
