Great bag. As usual Timbuk2 is high quality. Cant go wrong with this as an EDC bag for school, work, travel, etc. Holds less than a full-size backpack but more than a tote, and the convenient hidden pockets are so very useful.

Inner TPU lining cracked & flakes off at flap n inside (see photo). Its just horrible...

Great as small purse

I bought this in january 18 to use when I ride my bike to work, every day. Its extremely well designed both internally (separation in the middle, many pockets, etc.) and externally (main strap can be loosened single-handledly; additional side strap keeps it in place on the bike, almost like a backpack). It doesnt show any sign of tear yet. I cant recommend this bag enough.

I like this bag--its durable and comes in an array of patterns, making it easy to find one that suits my taste. That being said, the cross body strap is way too short. I realize this bag is a traditional-style messenger bag in that it is intended to be worn very close to the body, but I didnt realize how close. It would have been nice to have a longer strap with the option to shorten it as necessary. I generally like my bags to hang at my hip or lower, but this bag hangs at above waist level. Im sure I will eventually adjust, but for the time being it feels awkward. Because I am using this as a camera bag (with the added Timbuk2 camera padding insert), I dont like the idea of pushing the bag to hang on my back at an angle. While I trust that the velcro and buckles will prevent items from falling out, I dont want to risk it or to carry my camera where I cant see it. Im still going back and forth over whether or not I want to keep the bag; the strap situation is a bit of a let down.

I like everything about this bag, the size, it easily fits a 2” binder and my laptop. The weight is lighter than you expect when you pick it up the first time and sturdy.

replacing a 25+ year old LL Bean laptop bag that has held up incredibly over time. big fan of made in the USA (SanFran). ordered the medium size, it was too large for my 14 inch laptop and closer in size to the LL Bean. returned for a small, its the perfect size. plenty of space for what I have, not a lot of un-used space which is nice. feels great to wear as well.
