Classic Messenger Bag - Durable, Water-Resistant, fits 13, 15, 17 Laptop

Good built quality

The bag is a lot larger than it looks. Its durable and easily carries a Canon full-frame camera, the 6D, with a biggish 24-105 L lens - with tons of room for small audio recorder, cables, GoPro in hardshell case with Max grip, iPad 9.7 - and on and on. Wonderfully comfortable, too - so happy that working bike messengers decided to make a comfy hip-hugging flexible bag, kind of like a Domke F-2 but a lot cheaper and less bulky.

I waited months before pulling the trigger on this purchase. I needed a new bag for my public transportation commute, but Ive never wanted to pay $100 for one. I got lucky with a sale on Timbuk2 Classic bags and couldnt be happier. The adjustable shoulder strap is a game changer. Being able to tighten down the bag, so its not a huge burden on the bus is fantastic. Of course, that its weather proof is fantastic, as well.

I am a bicycle rider and as such am a bit picky about bicycle bags.

Ive been using Timbuk2 messenger bags since 2007 and it seems the quality has deteriorated over the years. The clip to adjust the strap used to be thicker and sturdier. Its smaller and weaker and easily comes up if you accidentally brush the clip against something causing you to constantly have to readjust the strap. I like the size of the bag and all the pockets. It fits my 13 laptop, 32 oz. hydroflask and notebooks well as I commute to and from work. Overall a good bag, just wish it was better quality.

Strong bags, carrying every day, the disadvantage is the narrow shoulder strap

The bag is nice but the shoulder strap is way too short and cant be lengthened enough to make it feel comfortable. Ill keep it since it was a gift, but its not very useful. Timbuk2 has always been my favorite bag ...until now. :(

Medium is too small should have bought the large.

This bag was the perfect gift for my husband! He loves having a bag he can take on trips to hold water bottles and his laptop. It fits his Apple computer (14in) perfectly. Likewise his iPad fits well also!

Its perfect and great quality, if you want to just keep a laptop and some files in it, if you want to carry a water bottle, books, or any additional items, i recommend size M
