Classic Messenger Bag - Durable, Water-Resistant, fits 13, 15, 17 Laptop

Awesome bag! Handy, comfortable, very cool.

After looking at several other bags this size, I found this bag to be perfect for several uses, especially traveling. I already have Timbuk2 medium and small messenger bags. This extra small bag is a perfect addition to my collection. I travel with my medium bag on a plane or by car because it has enough compartments and space for all my initial travel needs. However, once at my destination, I use my extra small bag, which was packed in my suitcase. It is small enough to be comfortable and light so not to be combersome touring , shopping, or walking around. But it is large enough to carry essentials like my wallet, sunglasses, eyeglasses, and minor needs. I love my Timbuk2 messenger bags.

So versatile with its adjustable storage size

The decrease in quality of materials and worksmanship versus earlier versions of the same sold years ago is painfully obvious. Given the cost, the quality should absolutely be higher.

Perfect size for everyday use. I ordered the medium size off of the Timbuk2 website, and when I got it it was too big for everyday use. The medium would be a great overnight bag, or a true school bag (books, laptop, other stuff), but I wanted a bag to carry as my purse, and this works great so far. Has all the same organizational pockets as the medium (is identical overall), but a much more manageable size.

The velcro sucks. Its loud and distracting, especially when you open it during a meeting. They couldve left with the clip or use a zipper. I cant feed it through my carry-on cabin luggage, the strap on the back is too small for that (or any standard sized cabin luggage for that matter. The strap gets heavy after a while on the shoulder, they couldve added more padding on the strap. The strap strand gets twisted easily. Also, there is no padding on the bottom. This is an overall bad design. Dont buy this.

Just the right mix of space and size love it.

I bought the small size, which is perfect for my needs. The pockets, zippers, velcro, and compartments are all really well thought out. The small size holds enough that I can use it when I travel as my carry on, or I can use it to carry all the stuff my purse usually carries, plus my lunch, a water bottle, and a travel mug, and it still has room for more.
