> 24 hourFirst off, the shipping was very fast. It shipped the day I ordered it which is great. It was here in two days which is also a plus. The product itself is creamy, opaque, and easy to use. You have to put a few drops of water in the shade of gold youd like to use (and let it sit in there for a minute or two) opposed to just dipping your brush in water and then quickly dipping it in the paint. This product is great for adding accents and extra details to your art. Now, it it worth the money? I feel so. A lot of art supplies arent cheap anyway, but this is worth it. You get 5 shades of gold (variety) and one shade of silver.

> 24 hourThese paints are a bit thicker than actual watercolors and dont quite behave like them either. So they are a bit difficult to work with if youre doing wet on wet. But they work amazingly well for wet on dry! The one major downside I found while working with these is that they dont pick up like normal watercolors so if you make a mistake its really noticeable.

> 24 hourIf you want a paint that gives off a beautiful shine, this palette is for you! I use these on my commissions at conventions and they bring that little extra something to the pieces. They can get a bit temperamental if you use them in big areas, but as thinner detail they work phenomenally. They also work splendidly to cover over dark inks and colors. I can’t recommend these enough.

> 24 hourThis paint is quite beautiful, of a good quality, and it can be used for subtle effects or layered to get a more solid, foil-like appearance. It flows nicely on the paper and seems to work well with my other watercolors. So far, Ive used ot to add some discreet gold color to paintings of autumn aspen trees, and also to make a deep gold background for a single aspen leaf. Both came out looking classy. I find it especially attractive on a rougher, more highly textured watercolor paper. People at my gallery like the paintings Ive made using it, and have been asking what I used. I do wish that in place of one of the similar looking gold colors, there were more of a coppery color, instead, just to add some variety to the set. Im looking forward t trying it out on dark colored paper and also mixing with other paints to get certain colors and effects. Once Ive found time to try that, I may come back and add more detail to my thoughts on its uses.

> 24 hourThe Picture on line was a long box set. I thought that was what I was ordering. I received a box half that size!

> 24 hourWorks just like any other watercolor, and once the paint dries, the effect is gorgeous. I find that these tend to work best when applied fairly densely, resulting in a beautiful solid sheen. Its fun tilting the final product in the light to see the sparkle and how the edges of rough brush strokes glimmer in and out of sight. Well worth the price.

> 24 hourI have bought metallic watercolors before, many times. I like to test out products to find the best ones for my needs and art, but this paint THIS paint surpassed even my wildest expectations! Its hard to catch in a picture just how beautiful it is but from the Tibet Gold to Sterling Silver this set of paints looks too beautiful to be real, and yet, here it is! I will be buying again when I use these up, and testing out other products from this same maker if possible. If youre looking for a good set of metallic paint, look no further.
