I had read many reviews of different glittery metallic paints before deciding that Coliro pearl colors would be the best for me. Im very happy with my purchase. The package arrived quickly and in good condition. The paints rewet easily and work like magic on my watercolor art. They add a special touch to my paintings and its even fun to just watch the mica move in the palette. The plastic palette also feels sturdy and easy to take while traveling. The company also reached out to me and were very very accommodating. I would definitely order from them again for my next set of metallic paints.

These paints are Amazing!! There just what I needed, to add gold touches to my illustrations. Theyre super easy to use, glides on the paper so smoothly with an even coat. The only thing I suggest is applying a light wash of yellow or grey if youre using the silver color. On the places you intended to put matelic paint. It applies easier then painting directly on the paper and I believe it helps the color stand out more.

as a calligrapher, i had to try this palette out and im super happy i did. it does take quite a bit of water to loosen up the ink, but once you find the right balance, its great and flows well....but it does take some trial and error to get the flow right. loooove the way they shimmer once dried. definitely looks more impressive in person than in a photo...almost looks embossed. i love this for calligraphy with a pointed pen.

The Picture on line was a long box set. I thought that was what I was ordering. I received a box half that size!

Ive seen this on SO MANY brush lettering videos on Instagram and never wanted to buy it because it was so expensive (at least I thought it was). This holiday season I said screw it and bought some for my tags and I can finally see why this is highly regarded amongst the brush lettering community. The gold is beautiful and you dont have to do a million coats to make it shiny. Will definitely be purchasing more when I run out.

Bought these to use while painting Christmas card. I’m definitely not a pro at all watercolor, but I’m not a total newbie. I cannot say enough about these metallics & the value for your money. No chunky textures & they go on paper so smooth. These are rich colors and you can definitely tell the difference between the golds on paper. I had some set that claim to be different golds all in one pallet, but you get them on paper and you can barely tell the difference. Not so with these!!! I can use these transparent easily or less h20 for opaque. These will last a loooong time. I was so impressed that I immediately purchased the Earth Metallic pallet also. It’s equally impressive. Highly recommend.

Honestly, the title says it all-- I love this paint. Almost every color is stunning and easy to use. I add a little water about a minute or so before I intend to use it (as per instructions on the box) and then add a wee bit more when Im prepping my brush. The paint goes on solid and cleans up easily afterward. The only reason I gave this four stars and only love almost every color, is that I have had consistent trouble with the Stirling Silver. It takes 3-5 coats to be solid for me and I found myself simply swapping back to acrylic for those sections. So far this has lasted through six paintings and the pans barely look touched (except for the Inca Gold which might be my favorite) The color differences between the golds is very subtle sometimes which made blending a couple colors very fun. Overall Im pretty sure this was one of the best purchases Ive made in a long time.

I give these an A as they work how I expected (well) and the cost was reasonable. I have tried others that were not satifactory.

There is a more expensive set of the same paints that have better packaging, but the paints themselves are top-notch quality! This particular versions plastic packaging is pretty cheap, which shows in the total price - the lid of my palette came broken on the hinge. However, I really dont mind that since the paint itself is still protected and is of great quality! If you cant afford the extra cash for the fancy palette package, buy this and receive the same quality of wonderful sparkling paints!
