Arrived on time well packaged in a box. No instructions , not really needed though. So far I have only printed ABS. Bed 90C, Nozzle 230C. ABS sticks to the PEI well until the surface cools. The PEI surface seems tuff. I ran the nozzle into the surface when setting the Z-offset and it only left a small mark. I expect the magnetic bed to get weaker with time since I print ABS and PETG at a high bed temperature. The surface / magnet combination was heavier than my glass surface at 446g. I expected ringing in the test cube print but did not see any. I gave a 4 on durability since I dont know how long the magnet will last at the 80-90C bed temperatures I use. Update: 06/14/2020 I removed the magnetic surface. It smells too much. I thought it would out-gas and then stop but it smells bad every-time it is heated. Now I hold the PEI surface down with clips.

The included magnetic base is not as strong as the stock ender 3 pro but its enough. Adhesion is great with NO tape or additives. Almost to good with petg as it fused in obesity place because the z offset was too close. Metal support under the pei is flexible but not as flexible as the ender 3 pro stock surface. Its flexible enough to remove builds without damage. The metal it sharp and can cut you off your not careful, I sliced my finger.

If you can suffer through the trial and error of getting the right temps and bed leveling the results are great and consistent time after time afterwards. Ive found that having my bed temperature at an intense temperature (relatively speaking) of 80 C it begins to stick, PLA and PETG seem to stick to the bed at this temp. If I hadnt known this fact I would probably thought this was defective because literally nothing would stick before that.

PEI has proven to be a very useful build plate surface for me. It has great adhesion when heated, and when cooled the prints just pop off with ease....no need for a scraper or use of force. The nice things about this product, is that it is two sided, with a choice of a smooth surface or a textured surface. In my opinion, this is the build plate that should be sent with the Ender 3 S1 Pro machines, as that only has a one-sided texture surface. I will definitely use this product anytime I need to replace my build surface.

The results are amazing! I have generally been very happy with the glass bed on my Ender 3 V2 but the biggest problem for me was too much adhesion with small parts. This bedplate solves that problem. I was initially skeptical when I first saw the silky smooth print surface, but after an easy installation and quick re-leveling I found that it grips PLA like a vice. The flexibility of the plate means that your prints will pop off with ease, regardless of size and that surface means the underside of your prints are as smooth as glass. I simply couldnt recommend this upgrade more.

UPDATE: The seller reached out to me very promptly and offered a replacement or refund. Ive updated my review from two to four stars as the seller stands behind the product and was very quick to respond to my issue. I am still using the bed until I get a replacement (just printing around the torn pieces) and adhesion and print quality on the bed side are still amazing. I would still recommend trying this bed as the seller will help you out if you have any issues. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This bed is very convenient as the sheet can be removed quickly after a print and bending it slightly will pop the print off. However, after a few prints the PEI coat started bubbling, and after about a week of use the coating has started chunking off. Prints are in PETG with 80C bed temperature. I did not use anything to stick the filament (hairspray, glue, etc) and had great adhesion (maybe too good). Might be OK with PLA or lower temp filaments, but would no recommend for PETG.

The quality control of the original Ender 3 V2 is horrible, so you end up with some print beds that work and some that are trash. This PEI upgrade is much, much better. I highly recommend it! Make sure to print at 60C bed temperature. For the more challenging prints, just add some glue stick. When done, just bend the sheet slightly and your parts will fall off very nicely. Love it.
