Easy little bed that does exactly what I needed.

It worked great for about 3 prints. After that I couldn’t get anything to stick to it

Ive been using the single-sided version of this for a while and while I like it, Ive always wished I could print on the smooth side without using a glue stick. So I ordered this one to gain the flexibility to print with a texture or without. (So far I prefer without.) This PEI sheet is terrific. It does require a bit more squish than the stock Ender-3 print bed, so youll have to dial in your Z offset, but once its dialed in prints stick well and pop right off when it cools. Occasionally, usually on larger prints, I have to remove the sheet and flex it a little to remove the print, but most of the time I just grab the model off the bed. I have found that a little bed adhesive (I use Bed Weld because its less messy than a glue stick) helps on really small models, especially on the smooth side, but usually I just make sure the PEI sheet is clean and it prints fine. For PETG, Comgrow recommends using something like glue stick because PETG will stick too well and can damage the surface. Ive seen PETG break a glass print bed when it sticks too well, so always use an adhesive - not to get it to stick, but to get it to release without damaging the print bed.

If you can suffer through the trial and error of getting the right temps and bed leveling the results are great and consistent time after time afterwards. Ive found that having my bed temperature at an intense temperature (relatively speaking) of 80 C it begins to stick, PLA and PETG seem to stick to the bed at this temp. If I hadnt known this fact I would probably thought this was defective because literally nothing would stick before that.

I got this included as a special with my ender S1 and figured it wasn’t an upgrade because it was free but turned out to be a pleasant surprise and actually sticks really well gives you the smooth bottom on prints

I got this at the same time as my CR Touch. The combination of the 2 together, I have not had a single print fail. Super easy to install and super easy to remove prints from.

No problems with the sheet. Its dual sided so when I get lazy I can flip it if I dont feel like cleaning it. Havent had any issues. Adhesion is good and I get a nice First layer.

Initially I ordered one of these. I was pretty happy with it. Prints were sticking really well. Then, I noticed some ghosts of prints’ past on the sheet. I ignored that and went ahead and ordered a second one for my second printer. It was doing well. Then, I started printing PETG with a bed temp of 85c. The first one had the coating on the sheet pull up with the print on the second PETG go around. I immediately sent in for a replacement through Amazon. The very same day I got that replacement the second one did the same exact thing! I have since requested to send it back for a refund. I now have 2 completely unusable PEI sheets. I have requested a refund from the manufacturer since I cannot get a refund on the Amazon replacement. We shall see what response I get. If you’re printing PLA, you’d probably be okay with this, but I wouldn’t print anything on a bed hotter than 65c with this sheet!
