> 3 daygot a new ender 3 s1, and this bed. i printed with the stock bed first, and it went well, but was immediately obvious why the pei sheet was needed as the stock bed made it difficult to impossible to remove the print. so i installed this pei bed and made a small test print. it went great. it was easy to remove. so then i set out to make a BIG print.... 49 hours worth of printing. it finally completes, and i pull off the print and notice that the bottom has these little bubbled imperfections - almost as if there was something on the bed when it printed, and it just went over the top of it... those imperfections rippled upwards ruining the entire multi day print. when i looked down - it became immediately obvious........ the pei coating was bubbling off the plate. i am ROYALLY pd off .... this bed cost me days of time, a TON of filament.... and i have nothing to show for it. in hunting around, it appears this is actually a cheap clone, not the creality original (missing the logo). that wasnt obvious when purchasing and it appeared like the real thing. not sure how these are allowed to be sold on amazon honestly. they know the product will fail.... it cannot take any amount of heat without bubbling up and ruining your print.

> 3 dayThe manual is pretty good and has a lot of good information. The English is not great however, with numerous puzzling sentences. Installation was easy. I watched some YouTube videos, but the instructions were pretty clear. I did have one issue with the last step in which you peel off the protective film from the PEI sheet. See the photo. I accidentally started to peel off the PEI before realizing it was not the film. Easy mistake to make, so be careful out there. The manual says if you want to print PETG you should coat the PEI with a glue stick. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to use glue sticks anymore with PEI. It says it’s best to remove PETG when the bed is still hot; I assume this is the case where glue isn’t used? I’ve already messed up a glass bed prying PETG off, so I’m reluctant to experiment! I might buy a second PEI sheet and keep it coated with glue and dedicate it to PETG prints. In the meantime I’ll just keep a glue layer on my old glass bed for PETG. I don’t see any particular advantages to the textured side. The manual says it’s a bit more scratch resistant than the smooth side. My tests with the smooth side came out great using PLA. Good adhesion and easy release when done printing. So far I really like this. I don’t see any negatives yet. Edit: FYI after a while I started losing first layer adhesion and nothing would print correctly. My best guess is that I washed it using dish soap. Some online comments say this can leave a thin film that is bad for adhesion. Following their advice I cleaned it using isopropyl alcohol and that seems to have resolved the problem.

Greater than one weekThis is an excellent option for users to be able to print textured or smooth build plates on the same plate. This one is basically the same price as many of the other single sided build plates. The magnetism isn’t quite as strong but it holds well to do printing on both sides. Ive found that I needed to adjust the Z Offset between this build plate and others. But once you figure out what that is you can swap build plates easy. The wide lift tab is really nice and makes it easier to get the build plate lifted off the magnetic bed. Be sure to remove the plastic sheet to make the prints stick. Clean the build plate with some isopropyl alcohol before printing and it should work great. If you still have issues printing wash with soap and water.

> 3 dayIve got an Ender 3 S1 Pro which comes with a magnetic bed and a PEI-covered steel sheet. This Comgrow sheet is a perfect fit with no need to replace the factory magnetic sheet. That means that the included, high-quality flexible magnetic sheet (shown magnetically stuck to my clothes washer) is going to be a spare in case I damage the factory sheet or have to remove it to service the underlying bed. The textured side of the sheet is an identical texture to the Creality factory sheet. Thats a really nice texture and it looks very good when imprinted into the face of TPU builds. Unlike the factory sheet, this one also includes a smooth PEI surface on the back side. Ive not tried that one yet -- Ive had enough adhesion problems already to be wary about doing builds on smooth surfaces. At the current price of just over $22, this is an incredible bargain. If you already have a magnetic bed of the correct size, this sheet will drop right onto it. Great product.

> 3 dayThe smooth side I’ve been having a few adhesion issues with but the textured side has been perfect for every print so far. I’d definitely recommend this print bed over any glass or other pei sheet bed. Came well packaged with no scratches or bends and it’s easy to install. Just make sure you’ve got everything lined up right before you put the sticky side down first.

> 3 dayThis is a direct replacement for the Ender 3 V2 Neo. Came with the bad magnet and 2 sided PEI sheet (textured and smooth). Easy to peel prints off but little stiffer then the original. Good bed adhesion on both sides.
