Ended up returning the product after one of the instillation pins broke off after a few days. Also, the metal that makes up the middle oval (on one of the cutters that did not need the installation pins) warps after two uses, such that the cutter stopped spinning. I was only cutting particle board about 1/2 in thickness. But I will give decent marks for being easy to use, only leaving out one star as the wood proved challenging to remove from the cutter. I suspect this would be fine for cutting something soft and thin like balsa wood or perhaps drywall.

This requires a heavy duty drill to attach to. It cuts a nice clean circle that requires very little sanding. Our small drill battery drained fairly quickly on a 1/2 board. This was a good buy. We priced one at a local farm supply store three times the cost.

Even with soft pine, I had a hard time using this product. Spend the extra money and get the real stuff

I use these to make holes in the lids of heavy duty totes. I place net cups in the holes and use the totes as hydroponic gardens. I’m satisfied with the product and would recommend it

Decent product for the price if you are just an occasional DIY person. If you are the type that would use these on a regular basis, this kit is not for you. It took 20 seconds to cut a 4” hole in 1/4” cedar panel.

A few times a year I run into a project that needs a large hole. I am the ideal customer for this kit. This kit wouldnt last for a day under heavy use, but it will drill all the holes I need for the next several years. If youre like me, you should buy this kit. If you need precision or intend to do a lot of drilling, or need to use one of the larger (more than 3) hole saws, you should buy something that costs at least five times what this kit costs.

These work great! And best of all they came with their own little case. Highly recommend as we have used these a few times and they cut right through.

These will cut threw soft wood but that’s about it. If you try and use anything else they will just burn the wood or just bind up. Good for the price though.

I was really hoping to have a set of dependable hole saw blades, but this is not it. Literally one cut and they go dull to the point of being unusable. They also flare out making your hole larger than you intended. It worked for the cut I was trying to make but is not usable after the first use. It would also be nice if the kit came with the correct sized wrench to tighten the bolt down. It easily comes loose when turning.

Well, for $20 bucks I guess it could have been worse. On the first use - on plywood, with a little gentle pressure initially - one of the teeth broke off. I do not claim to a pro, just a homeowner, but even starting the cut was a chore. It ate up the side panel I needed two holes in. Fortunately, this is for the dishwasher and should never be seen. If you do buy these, be very gentle!!! Update: 11/10/2020: I tried using another saw and the mandrel slips constantly - contacting the seller to request a refund.
