If youre looking for an affordable set of hole saws for woodworking at home - this one is working pretty good for me so far. No complaints on my end at all. If your intent is to buy something thats going to be in use at a shop with a lot of regular use per day - then I suspect you might want to invest in a jigsaw or even just a more heavy duty kit (youll see some listed for $60+). The blades dont seem strong enough to withstand a heavy amount of use, but I wouldnt expect that at the price point.

This requires a heavy duty drill to attach to. It cuts a nice clean circle that requires very little sanding. Our small drill battery drained fairly quickly on a 1/2 board. This was a good buy. We priced one at a local farm supply store three times the cost.

A necessity for drilling holes for water supply/drain pipes for a new bathroom vanity that had a solid plywood back. I was skeptical right at the beginning of the first drill when I smelled essence of pine from the plywood, but slow, steady pressure saw the job through. Even when I moved from the back to the front side where there was a nice, finished veneer surface, the drill cut through with perfect holes with a fine finished look. The only drawback was that no instructions were included with the package, and being a novice woodworker, I managed to get the job done without destroying the finished surface of the vanity, (Thats the only reason I gave it 4 stars.)

I bought this because it was recommended by the instructor of a woodworking course that I purchased online. The first time I used it, I was using the 3 hole saw to saw some holes through some 3/4 cherry. I could tell by how it was cutting that it was garbage. I only needed 4 holes for my project, and on the 3rd one, the center of the bit ovaled out so that the auger piece could no longer grab it. These are thin Chinese garbage metal. Maybe its fine if youre drilling through thin pine boards, but I wouldnt recommend this for much else. Spend a little more and buy a quality product is my advice!

Purchased this for only one reason: to cut 2 cornhole holes. Product came in 2 boxes. 1 for the holesaw and the other for the arbor bit. Added bonus, the drill bit portion was protected by a spring. Easy to assemble. Inserted it into my drills chuck (3/8), tightened it and started cutting. I proceeded slowly because I wanted a clean cut. It cut easily through the 1/2 plywood. I cannot speak to overall durability or ability to handle thicker wood. Yes, I recommend this product for similar jobs.

I needed a new set up hole saws, so I pick up this kit, and it has what I needed, but the drill bit broke after making 5 holes! Other than that its been nice. None of my other drill bits have the flat spot on them for the set screw to work correctly, so Im gonna keep looking for a replacement drill bit.

I bought these hole saws to drill through a laminated 3/4 piece of plywood. I needed two holes and the hole saw felt dull about half way through 1st hole. The 2nd hole was a challenge as the hole saw bracket broke and stripped at the chuck. I would say these are made for very light projects but they are cheap enough to be disposable.

Good bang for the buck. Little thin and dull, but I have the ability to make it work. Quality of the product could increase, but for the price it’s on par. If they were to make a better quality product it would cost more so keep that in mind.
