> 3 dayI commuted with these tires for years between 2010 and 2019 in areas where goat heads are a big issue and I very rarely got flats, none of which were ever by something as simple as a goat head. I decided to start commuting again and bought a pair to ensure I dont get flats riding to work. I dont know if they messed up at the factory and mislabeled these tires or if they just arent what they used to be. Ive had punctures every day this week. I pulled a goat head out this morning that went through the tire like it was a $20 cheap pos. I spent too much on these for them to perform so poorly. But, I bought em several months ago and just started using them this week which means I cant return them as defective cause Ive had them too long. Not gonna drop another $100+ to find out if it was a fluke...

> 3 dayRidden these for many years on the roads in my area which often have a lot of junk at the edges. They stand up very well, one time only I had a problem with a thrown tread, even then I was able to finish the ride. Highly recommended.

Greater than one weekI had to change my tires out from Grand Prix II 4000 series as the road debris were just wreaking havoc on those tires. Gator skins seem to be more durable for less than ideal conditions-- its been a few weeks and so far so good. These are heavier tires though and has more rolling resistance compared to the Grand Prix tires.
