Continental GatorSkin DuraSkin Tire

I have used Continental tires for years and they are always a great tire no matter which tire you choose.

Good tires replacing Conti Grand Prix 4000. Easy enough to mount. Fitting 28c tire in place of 25c tire without a problem in space through Ultegra brake calipers. So you shouldn’t have any problems either! The weight is okay. The feel is marginally better than the thinner tires, have to pump these up to 110psi or they feel slow. Pressure really matters.

These tires are unstoppable, I rode from Boston to San Francisco across gravel roads and 104º days in the Nevada desert - and they were fantastic. Only puncture was actually due to me overinflating my rear tire and riding over a sharp stone. Highly recommend.

Got a flat within a day. Not durable at all.

My husband was constantly getting flats on his bike from goat head stickers. Just about every time he rode his bike he would have a flat the next day. Its now been several months and he hasnt had one flat yet. I guess that speaks for itself.

Grippy and fast

Great so far. Rode at least 400 miles before my first flat.

This is one of the few road tires that has a lively ride and lasts on NYC streets.

Replaced some stock Specialized Nimbus tires with these. Theyre a bit lighter but seem to work well for commuting. (No flats yet)

great tires and a good ride. i have these on both of my bikes and they are great. rarely get a flat with these tires. I ride my street bike on paved mountain roads and thiner tires do not make the cut.
