Im a short woman, about 53, and fairly normal in terms of body shape; I needed a knapsack type bag to carry my 17.3 Dell laptop, instead of a side-slung messenger type bag, since I had been ill recently and my family/friends advised me that it would be better for me. I also didnt want a large backpack, since Ive seen a couple of my colleagues carry backpacks that look like theyre going to hike for a month. I like this backpack because its very slim in comparison to theirs, yet it has so many pockets and inner spaces that can be used. It has pockets that can be used to hide the short handles, and the long strap is also there if you need to carry it as a messenger-type bag. I have not used the long strap at all, because using it as a backpack is so comfortable for me, once I had adjusted those straps to my comfort. I only use the short handles to carry it for very short distances. I really like it because it can be stuffed into overhead compartments in buses/planes very easily because its relatively slim. I like the canvas-type material; it seems sturdy and hides any dust/dirt, although I plan to wash it now and again. My laptop fits in it PERFECTLY. Anything bigger than a 17.3 Dell Inspiron is going to be problematic. I have a wireless mouse, and I leave in the little USB thingy that communicates with the mouse. It still fits in there as long as I slide in the laptop very carefully. Once my colleagues see it, they really like it. However, they tend to carry nearly everything in their laptop bags, while I reserve mine for the laptop and its accessories, a few books and some other small things.

I really like this bag and it solves many of the problems I had with my two previous messenger bags. This bag is nice and has good functionality. The only thing I dont like. is theres a pocket that doubles as a pocket for one of the handles and storage for whatever. That pocket is not secure and things could fall out if the bag is turned upside down. Ive received compliments on the bag.

I am so in love with this bag. To start, the straps are completely comfortable. It holds my laptop, mouse, charger core, phone and charge, tablet, 2 business folders and has so many small, convenient pockets. Oh, and there is a warranty offered which is very nice too. I highly recommend this for business or school students.

Very good bag design but unfortunately not for me. I am looking for a convertible backpack to fit my alienware 17r5 and it fits inside the bag but wont zip closed. Bag is not deep enough. Do not buy for large gaming laptops.

As an itinerant intellectual I do not go anywhere without a laptop and a few books -- but I travel a lot, including internationally. Therefore, I do not take my bags for granted: they have to be practical, hold up well, and look cool, too! This bag is so intelligently-designed that in a few days Ive already used _all_ of its bells and whistles -- and there are many -- except, perhaps one or two of its internal pockets. I am so pleased that Im already choosing a suitcase to match it (abandoning my excellent and in-tact TUMI set from over 35 years) and picking color-coded wardrobe items to boot! Ive always said that if anything is designed to be ugly, then the designer did not complete the task. Well, this bag is so versatile it could not be more practical, so pretty it hurts and so sturdy that youll want forever to enter the world of a post-animal-product world (well... perhaps ... if I may be allowed a quibble, with the exception of the faux leather trim)! Great price too! Strongly recommended!

Been using this for my daily trip into the office. Very well made, and great utility. My wife got it for me, as I am not very fashion savvy. Love it.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I needed something that would protect my laptop and carry all of my office supplies for on the go. I lets you organize everything in all the compartments. The material looks good. I didnt have the problem others had where the hook to the strap was too little, everything works fine. I am very satisfied with the product.

Wife bought this for me cause my old laptop backpack is beat up. Ive had this bag for a week - seems very well made, and fits my 17 laptop perfectly. Plenty of pockets and such as well. Being able to hide the backpack straps is clever as well. Also have gotten many compliments on its appearance. 10/10 would buy again.

This is a great lightweight bag. It is very comfortable with plenty of room for everything I carry for work. The laptop pocket is one very well designed and keeps my laptop scratch free and secure at all times. The padding in in the laptop pocket is unique and disperses heat from extended use to help cool the laptop even when sealed up on the bag. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a lightweight bag for travelling and day to day use.

Pretty good all around laptop bag. Two main sections, one with a padded laptop sleeve and space for a book or tablet; the other section has pockets for peripherals or a power cable. Large outside pocket too. you can use this as a backpack if youd like, but if, like me, you use it as a messenger bag, the backpack straps are easily hidable. Strap mounts are reinforced and so I dont have a concern for its medium-term durability. If anything, the only problem is with the second sleeve, once you have irregularly shaped objects in the pockets such as a laptop charger or mouse it is a little difficult to get too much else stuffed into that side of the bag.
