Corsair 5000D Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Case - Black

> 3 dayOne of the best white-themed ATX cases today. The build quality is amazing and the sound dampening is really great. I love how easy it is to remove the front and top panel, more case manufacturers should take note. Cable management is a breeze but angling the 24-pin and the 3.0 cable is headache-inducing. Removing the tempered glass panel could’ve been made easier by adding a magnetic panel or something to that effect so your hands aren’t touching the glass. The rear cable cover is a unique feature but any cables sticking out pushes it and since it’s magnetic, it won’t be able to close. I had to remove mine since the 24-pin stock out too much. My biggest gripe though is the price and the amount of fans provided. If you’re going to charge $160 USD, you would think they should’ve included an adequate amount of fans. They chose to include two fans which considering the completion at this price point, it’s disappointing. Overall though, I’m happy with this case and glad to see Corsair make airflow-focused cases.

> 3 dayBought this case for airflow and looks. With regard to airflow, it does well and has plenty of room for cable management in the back as long as you leave the inner door off, which doesnt show at all. Why only 4 stars? Because this case has an almost totally black glass side panel that acts more like a mirror than a window, which is so dark that you can barely see through it. If I wanted a side panel that you cant see through, I would have bought a case with a metal side panel. Unfortunately, the only alternative is the 500D clear side panel which Corsair does make for the white case, but it has a white border around it, making it look ridiculous on a black case.

> 3 dayGreat mid-size tower. Tons of options for cable management. The airflow is superior and definitely sets it apart from the competition.

> 3 dayIve used about 7-8 different cases over the past 2-3 years and Corsair has out done themselves with this one. The 5000D airflow has more than enough room for any possible ideas or builds youd like to create and its why I chose it over the 4000D. If youre looking for a mid tower case with a lot of room and upgrade ability then the 5000d airflow is the way to go. The ssd mounts can be used to mount fan hubs and the two included fans while not rgb are PWM so thats a bonus if you dont feel like spending money on an extra rear fan. Overall a great case, I would highly recommend it especially due to the ease of cable management afterwards.

> 3 dayIt’s still possible to see through but it’s tinted dark enough that it’s harder to see all your fancy RGB expensive components. I exchanged it for the white version. It’s an exceptional case just expect that glass to be too dark if you buy the black one.

> 3 dayThis case is big and beautiful, plenty of room to build in, great cable management and lots of airflow. It was a significant upgrade over my versa 24.

> 3 dayBought this case during an overhaul of my older system, been slowly upgrading. Had some criteria to meet with the upgrade. Wanted plenty of space, options to side mount the GPU, tons of fans, room for cable managing. This case just does it all. My thermals are well managed, aside from really intense GPU tasks. Theres a bunch of different ways to set up your fans. Cable management is pretty tame.
