Corsair 5000D Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Case - Black

What can I say? This is a great case with a ton of great features built into it. The over all design is perfect and appealing. Cable management is great. The many options for radiators and fans make it as good as most other cases that cost more. You wont be disappointed with this case!

I know I dont have a picture with it on but I am still having trouble getting out of bious. The glass cover is gorgeous though! I am a fairly amateur pc builder, this is my 3rd case and my second I came from another corsair obsidian midtown. This case was built for noobs in mind and glorious cable management. As you can see you can barely see any wires from the glass view and there is an extra door on the back to hide cables and hold in before putting the case sleeve on.

I never write reviews, but this item needs to have more ratings. I bought the case a few weeks ago and have been monitoring it’s performance since, I previously had an NZXT H510 case which had zero airflow this case is the ultimate upgrade for my old case and I saw how much difference there is when using a much much cooler pc temps, with the help of the amount of airflow the case provided. I also have to mention that this is my first pc and my first time transferring my parts to a new case, and I will tell u what this case makes everything easy to assemble, I have to mention that the case is very big so if someone is looking for a more reasonable size case this is not the way to go.

Corsair did a FANTASTIC job with this case. Cable tracks made routing cables with extensions easy and it came with a whole bag of Velcro cable straps... which was a nice surprise. All cutouts were nicely rounded with no sharp edges which mase for a tetanus free build.

Got room for plenty of fans and definitely dropped the GPU temps by around 7C compared to my old Antec case which had 90mm and 120mm fans. The side shroud made it more difficult to install my WC rad and few of the wiring had to run differently due blockage. I left the shroud on so the 3 side fan mounts would not be visible. Plenty of room for future upgrades still available. Went with 7 Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM which gives it great air flow with minimal noise. Nice and quiet. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the side shroud wiring issue which just makes you have to route a couple your wires differently.

This case is amazing. The quality of the material is great.

This case is huge for a mid-tower. Its too big to go on the desk, unless it IS your desk. Its tall, deep, and very girthy. Very versatile & great for custom building while hiding cables. Its heavy (not aluminum unfortunately) and a bit awkward to move around.

Would have lived this case however the box arrived damaged and as I feared the case was as well. Pretty sad considering how expensive this case is.

Its a little broken

Upgraded to this case from the 4000D Airflow. I love all the options on this case.
