> 3 dayAfter successfully updating another MacBook Pro (#1) with a Samsung 500GB Internal SSD successfully, I wanted to update another MacBook Pro (#2) with this 750GB SSD from Crucial. I updated the other in November 2015 and it is running without a glitch. With this Crucial, (#2) runs much faster as expected. However, about 4 weeks after install, I started noticing a lot of random shutdowns and spinning globes. I didnt think much of it until these episodes became more frequent. I started running DiskUtility and each time I run it, there is some kind of corruption error or incorrect block count error or invalid free block cont, which DiskUtility seems to successfully repair. Then 1 minute later, a new error appears. Now the random shutdowns are almost daily with no hint of when it will happen. Meanwhile, (#1) which is 3 years older and a less powerful MacBook keeps working perfectly with never an error on DiskUtility. I may have flawed Crucial SSD, but it may just be a cheaper product. Unfortunately, I am past the 30 day Amazon replacement window, so I will try contacting Crucial to see how they honor their warranty. I will update this as I interact with Crucial directly. I give it 2 stars just because of the speed increase. However, stay away from it.

> 3 dayI rebuilt my computer last year and didnt upgrade to an ssd. My computer was what I would considered to be pretty fast but I didnt realize just how much my old HDD was slowing me down. Since upgrading to this MX300 750GB ssd my os boot time dropped from 1 minute 7 seconds to a blazing 15 seconds total and I should add that before even after the 1:07 with the hdd it was still loading background programs. With the ssd, in 15 seconds, EVERYTHING was loaded and ready to go. Also my video games also load in about half the time they used to. Some of the other reviews here said they didnt like the included software. Well I shouldnt have read that. I used another software that Id heard about and the one I chose didnt clone the boot portion of my old drive. Long story short...... I ended up reformatting the new ssd and cloning it again with the included software and I had it up and going in no time (minus the time it takes to transfer, which took a while considering I transferred 500GB). This is absolutely one of the best upgrades you can do to your PC, especially if you are an advanced user (gamer, video editor, ect) I will update this review down the road if I have any issues.

> 3 dayI have couple of crucial ssds and never had any issues with any of the disks. Which made me confident of buying one more. The speeds - both read and write have been excellent. Using it as a replacement to HDD in my laptop which makes it easier to compare the speeds visually. No issues till now. This was purchased during the black friday sale and it made it worth of a purchase.

> 3 dayI got this on sale for $100, and for that price this is an absolute steal, and honestly I would have been willing to pay more for it. Speed isnt blazing, but its slotted in between TLC SSDs and MLC SSDs and can often be had for TLC SSD price. This is especially great for my itx build, where I dont have the luxury of space to fit spinning platter drives but still want a decent amount of storage. Hasnt stopped working after a couple months, so no immediate reliability issues are present.

> 3 dayBlazing fast and large disk space (750gb). I have been using SSDs for the last 10 years (mostly intels for reliability) in my rigs and I found this to be a very good consumer grade level product. Only time will tell how long this will last, but from other reviews, this line has not failed to satisfy most peoples need.

> 3 dayMy daughters 2012 MacBook Pro non-retina was really getting slow, due in part to her abuse, and age. Replaced with the MX300; wow what a difference. Did not clone her old drive, did a clean install of the OS and all the other software on it. Amazing how much faster this computer is now. Love it, well worth the price and time.

Greater than one weekFor my main desktop been waiting for a drive that made sense with a ~300GB Boot drive...This is the best deal from a reliable company for anything much bigger than 500GB...Mushkin 1TB is the only other option but that is kinda slow...MX300 is a winner. Hint make regular backups, (Paragon have a free version backup app available that will even move an OS drive to different hardware). Super drive got multiple sizes (275GB for the laptop)

> 3 dayWith an SATA-to-USB 3.0 adapter, this works great as a portable USB drive. Its super-fast for back-ups and file transfers, and its so much smaller than a typical external USB drive. Eventually, this will make its way into a desktop system replacing a 3.5 7200rpm 500 GB hard-drive...from experience, I can anticipate huge performance improvements with an solid-state drive in that system.

Greater than one weekMy 2011 Mac Mini was running unbelievably slow. Im talking spinning wheel just trying to open a file on the desktop. Time machine wouldnt even do a backup and error codes would pop-up every time I tried to reinstall the OS. I took a leap and diagnosed my computer with a dying hard drive. I ordered the crucial and then installed it hoping it would fix my slow as molasses computer. HOLY CRAP. This SSD has solved every one of my issues. Boot up is extremely fast, and everything installed from my latest backup with no issues. Files and folders open instantaneously. It feels like a brand new Mac. Heck, it even feels faster than the new 2016 macs. How is this possible? I dont know and Im not going to question it. I just know Ill be buying Crucial Memory from here on out.

Greater than one weekI got one for me and one for my wife. It took less than 2 hours to clone my wifes 750 GB regular spinning drive to this SSD using CloneZilla. Mine is running Slackware-current and is lightning fast
