> 3 dayI got one for me and one for my wife. It took less than 2 hours to clone my wifes 750 GB regular spinning drive to this SSD using CloneZilla. Mine is running Slackware-current and is lightning fast

Greater than one weekMy late 2008 macbook pro was pretty much dead so instead of buying a new laptop I decided to try to bring it back to life one last time. I was in doubt between crucial and samsung. They both had great reviews so I decided to go with crucial because of the lower price for more space. This SSD worked perfectly! My macbook is acting like new now!! I used this SSD as my main disk, removed the cd slot, bought a HD caddy, and put the old HD there. I also upgraded the memory from 2g to 8g(apple says my model would only work up to 4g but its not true, 8g is working great!). Even my roommate commented that it seemed faster than his 2014 macbook pro (his macbook has 16g and runs with a samsung SSD and the original HD).

> 3 dayIve been using this for months and so far trouble free operation and it makes my older computer seem like new again. By far the most bang for the buck in terms of computer upgrades.

> 3 dayI got this 750GB drive during the Thanksgiving sale for $100, and at that price it is a steal, considering how it now popped back up to $215. It performs just as good as my Samsung 840 Pro 256GB and 850 Evo 500GB series SSDs, and I bought those for about $150 last year. Their prices are still holding up quite high:

> 3 dayUsed to upgrade the harddrive of a 2010 MacBook Pro. This computer runs better now than it probably ever has in the 8 years we have had it. Super fast access time for opening programs and lightning fast bootup. From the time I push the power button until I can open a program is now about 25 seconds. Cant recommend this enough. Do yourself a favor and switch to a solid state drive to renew the performance of your computer.

> 3 dayI work in I.T. and bought this for my laptop. Drive worked fine while it lasted but not very long and in todays world of technology i would expect it to last much longer. After my first true test with an SSD hard drive, i must say it is very disappointing. I hope this is not what i will see in the future. I just bought a Samsung EVO to replace it which i have used in customers computers without incident thus far. I will not be buying Crucial hard drives in the future.

> 3 dayThe ssd drives meets my expectation. It is just some hiccups during the delivery which results in delay. But the final shipment plan went quick and I received it about a week after the final shipment plan.

> 3 day750GB is perfect. Wanted to go with an all SSD PC, so I could get rid of the 3.5 hard drive cage in my case. This is probably the best performance/capacity/cost ratio on a SSD. Sure, its not as fast as the 850 EVO/Pro drives, but those are a) more expensive and b) 500/512GB SSDs. That said, its insanely fast, and I would be hard pressed to tell the difference on real world usage between them. 3D NAND also comes with a very nice Endurance boost. If you want a SSD storage drive, I cant really think of a better option than this one. Cheaper ones can be found yes, but they also compromise on performance. This one hits the sweet spot.

> 3 dayWonderful drive. Installation and loading windows took me only 1 hour total. For $180, my laptop has a SSD and is like new again. This is not 750GB. This is 749,629,075,454 bytes or 698GB. Reduced 1 star because of the 698 GB vs promised 750GB

> 3 dayThis is a very fast little SSD. I have an Asus ROG GL552VW laptop which already has a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB m.2 SSD for OS and a 1TB 2.5 HDD that came with the laptop. I removed the ODD of my laptop and used a HDD caddy to move the HDD to this position. Then I connected the MX300 in the place of the HDD. I have dedicated the MX300 for my Steam, Origin and Uplay collection. The difference is performance is obvious. Games load much faster and I feel there is less to no stuttering in games like Shadow of Mordor and No Mans sky where large draw distances are used. So it should work well with games with large open maps.
