> 3 dayThis bag is perfect for those that need to carry all their hand tools as well as a few battery tools in the center. Stays sturdy and stands well even after overloaded with about 40lbs of tools.

Greater than one weekI first received this tool bag from my buddy 4 years ago. Now I have two of them and had 4 coworkers buy them for themselves! Great tool bag, good amount of spots to hold tools. I really love this bag, you will to!

> 3 dayI bought this to replace my work craftsman toolbag, I should have done this years ago. Tool bag features plenty of pockets and clips for all the goodies you carry. I really like the carry handle, good padding for a loaded bag, the shoulder strap has a decent pad and comes in handy for long hikes. One welcome item is the plastic parts tray in the bottom, it goes almost unnoticed but is great for all the small parts and hardware that used to tumble to the bottom of my old bag under the tools. Only one issue so far, a support rod worked out of the carry handle, I got it reinserted, too soon to tell if I will have to address further. I would not hesitate to purchase another, price is right and it is made well.

Greater than one weekI am a HVAC Service Tech. I have used this type bag for over ten years. It holds all the tools I need to perform a typical call. The storage box holds all the little items handy like fuses, wire nuts, misc. screws , caps, wire terminal ends, etc. The 1528 bag is more stable than the 1526 bag and does not tip over easily. A bag lasts about 5 years of daily use before the bottom starts falling out. The many pockets helps keep your tools organized and allows for a quick visual inventory to check if you are leaving any tools behind.

29-11-2024I returned two others and settled on this one. I maintain a couple apartments but Im not a full time tradesman, and this is plenty tough construction, im guessing it will last me 10 years - good canvas, rigid where it needs to be so the whole thing maintains shape - the others did not and they were uselessly floppy. For me theres the right # of pockets, the zip pocket for small items, and a functional screw/parts box. Study the pictures and if its what you need, I can say you get what you see. The longer/narrower version is fine too but I like the depth of this and felt it had better loops and pockets.

> 3 dayAbout Me: I work on a little bit of everything, home remodeling, electrical, plumbing, appliances, security systems, surveillance systems, so my favorite, gotta have tools run the gamut. My old bag was a smaller AWP of similar style. About this bag... First off, I just got it and loaded it up so my opinion will change as time goes on. What follows are just my initial impressions. Pros: Nice bag. Nice construction. Looks like it will last for years. You can cram a lot of stuff in this bag. The small parts box in the bottom is a nice touch and will come in handy. Looks impressive when fully loaded. Cons: I think they really missed the boat on how they laid out the tool storage. There are no loops for storing screw drivers and nut drivers so you either have to cram them all into one of the large inside pockets or split them up one or two to a pocket in the outside pockets. Some of the outside pockets are so deep, you cant use them for most tools so they are limited to longer tools like channel-locks or linesman pliers. Pockets for regular sized hand tools (pliers, needle-nose etc.) are also in short supply. I dont like putting more than one tool in a pocket. The zippered pocket/mesh pocket on the one end is too small. Should have been more pouch like in order to make it more crammable (is that a word?). Ill keep it, but Im sure Ill have to add a few after-market customizations to make it work for me. I uploaded some pics to give you a better idea. They sure left a little to be desired in that area. All-in-all, would I buy it again? Yes. EDIT: Wow. Cant believe its been 2.5 years since I bought this bag! Still holding up great. I ended out solving my screwdriver / nut driver storage problem by cutting a dozen 5 long pieces of 1.5 EMT and cramming those in the ends. Now every screwdriver and nut driver has a home and I know at a glance if Im missing something.

> 3 dayThese days Im hesitant to purchase items on Amazon primarily based on star ratings but Ill have to admit this tool carrier lives up to somewhere between a four and five star rating: excellent stitching, heavy canvas material, perfect size for me, the grip on the handle is comfortable even with a fully loaded back, and lots of slots for various sized tools. Especially though, my first impression was that this is quality item. At its current price Im even taking the (uncompensated) time to write a very favorable review. I think this carry bag is actually deserving of a 4 1/2 star rating; only docked it half a star for no coffee holder... ;-)

> 3 dayOrdered and received the tool bag last week. Took it to work (steel mill) and moved all my tools from my old bag (AWP from Lowes). To my surprise, the CLC bag is larger than expected, but I have room to grow. My Fluke DMM sits perfectly in the middle. The plastic case that stores neatly underneath is big enough to store all wire nuts and other small items. I will have to come back and update my review after I spend time using the bag. I had the other AWP bag for only 4 months and it did not live up to the conditions of my workplace. I will give 4 stars as of now. So stay tuned. ;-) Update 11/21/14: I tried to like this bag but it did not live up to my expectations. The shoulder strap clips broke. I had to improvise with carabiners. The bag began to lean to one side. The measuring tape clip does not hold the tape securely, which also caused me to lose a tape. Sadly, had to retire this bag early and bought a different bag (CLC 1509).
