> 3 dayI bought this to hold my standard household tools. Before this I had a standard toolbox with a lid and a widemouth zip-up tool bag. The lidded toolbox worked fine, but you always had to unlatch it to get to your tools, then relatch it later, and sometimes I just wanted to be able to go grab what I needed quickly, so I would leave it unlatched, and tools would start accumulating around it on the shelf. So I got myself a widemouth canvas tool bag. It was large and had a plethora of pockets for all of my goodies, but I found that it would sag and fold down over the pockets sometimes making it difficult to get to things. Plus its overall floppiness annoyed me. Enter the LeatherCraft 1528. Pockets to hold everything I need, stiffness and open design to aid in the location and procurement of my required tools, easy grab handle and supercool looks. I currently have the following in mine. Ratcheted multibit screwdriver Cordless driver Corded Drill drill bit, screwdriving tip and socket sets - all in small square cases. 12 extension cord (for my drill) Alien multitool for mtn bike Channel lock pliers 3 small pliers crescent wrench Staple gun with staples standard claw hammer Household nail set on outside - Nails, screws, drywall anchors, etc in container on bottom. Other Small items: Safety glasses, glue, wd40, small ratcheted wrench screwdriver, gloves, magnetic studfinder, file, pencil, boxcutter, tape measure. There is room for 5 or 6 more small tools such as screwdrivers or wrenches. Bottom Line: If you are an average home owner and weekend handyman, this is the tool carrier for you.

> 3 dayI like this tool bag. Its not too large and holds a good assortment of tools. I carry a hammer, 10 channel lock pliers, needle nose pliers, linemans pliers, dykes, phillips & straight screwdrivers, gearwrenchs 5/16 - 3/4, tape, punch, chisel, wire markers, Fluke meter, wire markers, tape measure, and a few other items. I love the plastic compartmentalized tray in the bottom. I carry many small items there: wire nuts, terminal connectors, nuts, bolts (small) and so on. I would buy another one.

> 3 dayIm shocked at the price. Its a pretty good tool bag. HVAC tech 16 years. edit: Hvac 19 years now. this is really the only bag i like for hvac and have been using this set up for almost 20 years and really dont know any other way. At this point 65 dollars just is what it is the price is steep as is everything. they used to be 25 then 35 now 65. its worth every penny for me though because this bag is absolutely phenomenal and cant do my job right without it.

> 3 dayAbout Me: I work on a little bit of everything, home remodeling, electrical, plumbing, appliances, security systems, surveillance systems, so my favorite, gotta have tools run the gamut. My old bag was a smaller AWP of similar style. About this bag... First off, I just got it and loaded it up so my opinion will change as time goes on. What follows are just my initial impressions. Pros: Nice bag. Nice construction. Looks like it will last for years. You can cram a lot of stuff in this bag. The small parts box in the bottom is a nice touch and will come in handy. Looks impressive when fully loaded. Cons: I think they really missed the boat on how they laid out the tool storage. There are no loops for storing screw drivers and nut drivers so you either have to cram them all into one of the large inside pockets or split them up one or two to a pocket in the outside pockets. Some of the outside pockets are so deep, you cant use them for most tools so they are limited to longer tools like channel-locks or linesman pliers. Pockets for regular sized hand tools (pliers, needle-nose etc.) are also in short supply. I dont like putting more than one tool in a pocket. The zippered pocket/mesh pocket on the one end is too small. Should have been more pouch like in order to make it more crammable (is that a word?). Ill keep it, but Im sure Ill have to add a few after-market customizations to make it work for me. I uploaded some pics to give you a better idea. They sure left a little to be desired in that area. All-in-all, would I buy it again? Yes. EDIT: Wow. Cant believe its been 2.5 years since I bought this bag! Still holding up great. I ended out solving my screwdriver / nut driver storage problem by cutting a dozen 5 long pieces of 1.5 EMT and cramming those in the ends. Now every screwdriver and nut driver has a home and I know at a glance if Im missing something.

> 3 dayMy husbad picked this out himself for Christmas. Hes a contractor and needed another tool box that would help him stay organized. He loved all of the pockets and spaces to organize his tools. My only complaint is that its very heavy. Im concerned about how heavy it will be when its full of tools. I showed it to him when it arrived and he still wanted to keep it. Its not Christmas yet, so well have to see how it works out. Ill update this post if we end up returning it, otherwise you can assume that its working out well!

Happy Chef!
> 3 dayThese days Im hesitant to purchase items on Amazon primarily based on star ratings but Ill have to admit this tool carrier lives up to somewhere between a four and five star rating: excellent stitching, heavy canvas material, perfect size for me, the grip on the handle is comfortable even with a fully loaded back, and lots of slots for various sized tools. Especially though, my first impression was that this is quality item. At its current price Im even taking the (uncompensated) time to write a very favorable review. I think this carry bag is actually deserving of a 4 1/2 star rating; only docked it half a star for no coffee holder... ;-)

> 3 dayGreat bag, use it every day for work. The bin is great for the small bits. Center pocket is big enough for 2 drills or some other odd tools. My only star deducting feature it that the handle part folds over the side of the bag that I use the most, wish it was a tad more rigid.

> 3 dayI do home repairs and need a handy carrier for my tools. I had another version of this bag before and things were cramped. This one is a little more roomy and accommodates what I need on ninety-percent of my jobs. I traded out the plastic screw compartment for space for my meters. I want them well protected rather than in an outside pocket where they could get abused. I removed the strap and always carry it by the handle which is very sturdy and well designed. Finally, I used an old leather tool pouch with a number of different pockets that I inserted into the large pouch of this bag so that I would have more little pockets for my vast array of tools, i.e., nut drivers, screw drivers, etc.
