Only 1 thing Id change. The kit shouldve been in a compartment on the under side of the tool bag. Wouldve acted as a more sturdy base as well as free up the side pocket.

When product arrived the plastic container was broken, I used the tool bag because I needed it for the next day. I contacted customer service and they said sorry we no longer have the plastic containers and would not credit any money or even 10% for a cracked in the plastic which I showed them pics of. I tried multiple times and just got sorry.. The bag is not bad after using it for 2 weeks though the strap keeps coming off when you go to pic up the bag, I do HVAC work and now do not trust it in a customers house so Im out of luck on this bag. look elsewhere is my advice.

Bought this quite a while ago for my husband (thor) and he loves it. Hes a contractor (go figure) and this tool bag has really held up over time. Its really handy to grab for smaller jobs and keeps his tools visible. I was really skeptical about how well it would hold up, but I helped him transfer a bunch of tools and stuff into a different truck this weekend and was really impressed with how sturdy it has remained and how useful it has been.

I am a HVAC Service Tech. I have used this type bag for over ten years. It holds all the tools I need to perform a typical call. The storage box holds all the little items handy like fuses, wire nuts, misc. screws , caps, wire terminal ends, etc. The 1528 bag is more stable than the 1526 bag and does not tip over easily. A bag lasts about 5 years of daily use before the bottom starts falling out. The many pockets helps keep your tools organized and allows for a quick visual inventory to check if you are leaving any tools behind.

I love this bag, fits my basic everyday tools fine and has room for more. Good size to it, beats a big bulky bag! I’m sure this bag will sag in the future, another style clc bag I had sagged after a year of rough work. I continued to use it for another year and a half though with no problems.

Allows easy access to your tools, which gives you more time to actually do your job instead of hunting for the right tool.Saves me at least 30 to 45 minutes a day.

This is my third toolbox from this brand and I used it a lot! Good quality and reasonable price!

I bought this to replace my work craftsman toolbag, I should have done this years ago. Tool bag features plenty of pockets and clips for all the goodies you carry. I really like the carry handle, good padding for a loaded bag, the shoulder strap has a decent pad and comes in handy for long hikes. One welcome item is the plastic parts tray in the bottom, it goes almost unnoticed but is great for all the small parts and hardware that used to tumble to the bottom of my old bag under the tools. Only one issue so far, a support rod worked out of the carry handle, I got it reinserted, too soon to tell if I will have to address further. I would not hesitate to purchase another, price is right and it is made well.

This bag is perfect for those that need to carry all their hand tools as well as a few battery tools in the center. Stays sturdy and stands well even after overloaded with about 40lbs of tools.

I shifted to this tool bag after using a plastic tote that was poorly organized. Construction is excellent. Pockets are well-designed. Note that the bottom of the tote is taken up by a compartmentalized plastic organizer for small items like screws. Because this takes up the bottom couple inches of the bag, the depth of the main compartment is less than I expected. One design flaw -- the handle is not detachable. Therefore it is in the way when you try to insert large items into the main compartment. I find this annoying. It would have been easy to have the sides of the handle connect with clips so it could be detached while loading the bag. This annoyance cost the bag a star. Overall, I am very happy with the sturdiness, convenience, and ease of organizing tools.
