> 3 dayI gave it a fair shake - used it for about a year before writing this review. I am an HVAC professional, and Ive used this bag for 15 years. When I purchased this latest rendition they had moved the small parts bin from underneath to the side. I liked it better underneath, but thats not a big deal. What IS a big deal is that they also changed to a much more flexible fabric. The pockets dont hold their shape. When I pull a tool out the pocket folds over and grabs the tool making it difficult to remove. When I put a tool in, the pocket collapses and it turns into a two handed frustrating experience. I have recently resorted to cutting old plastic bottles of various sizes to line the pockets and give them shape.

> 3 dayThis is a great starter tool bag, I have owned and used it daily for the past couple of weeks. I say starter bag because of the size, It is a little too small for all of my tools, I still have to carry my dewalt bag for all of my drill and accessories. Also, the see through case included does not snap shut, which isnt too much of a problem unless you tip it over when its not in its place in the bag. Over all I am happy with the tool bag, just wish it was a little bit bigger but a good buy for the price.

Greater than one weekI do home repairs and need a handy carrier for my tools. I had another version of this bag before and things were cramped. This one is a little more roomy and accommodates what I need on ninety-percent of my jobs. I traded out the plastic screw compartment for space for my meters. I want them well protected rather than in an outside pocket where they could get abused. I removed the strap and always carry it by the handle which is very sturdy and well designed. Finally, I used an old leather tool pouch with a number of different pockets that I inserted into the large pouch of this bag so that I would have more little pockets for my vast array of tools, i.e., nut drivers, screw drivers, etc.

> 3 dayHolds a lot, Great bag for the price, theres enough varying slots and the component box pocket repurposed makes a great place to store a meter! If you keep one side free of bulky items its a breeze to carry with the shoulder strap, probably loaded to about 45 lbs when keeping atop a rolling packout. Can drop items and carry freely about 30lbs, some of the deeper pockets eat smaller things but easily fixed with a wadded up piece of cardboard etc.

Greater than one weekhahah my co-workers are jealous of this bag. its pretty good. heres a tip to you clowns: dont use the plastic clips on the plastic box more than absolutely necessary. No plastic clips will ever survive regular use. i just use a nine-inch piece of electrical tape to hold the box closed as i put it back in its place. then the bag holds it together nice and tight.

> 3 dayI dont know whats up with all the low reviews. This bag is awesome. Pretty easy to organize, holds a ton of tools and such. The center pocket is perfect for my test equipment. One side hold all my crimpers, the other my toner and irregularly used hand tools. On one outside I have my cable cutters and strippers, on the other screw drivers and such. My light duty dealt drill pokes down bedsheets the crimpers. The tackle box is full of commectors, crimps, rack screws, and such. Its pretty heavy but the flat side lets it easily ride on top of my pelican 1560 case. Also should note that my kit regularly gets compliments from coworkers and clients, which is pretty nice.

> 3 dayI am an IT Field Technician, and I use this bag for all of my many cabling tools and testers. It fits everything perfectly, and it still asks for more. The included organizer is also a MAJOR plus. I have only used it for a few months, but it has been punished daily, and it is ready for more!!!

> 3 dayThis bag is great. I am pool tech and I carry a lot of tools. This bag fits all my needs and still have room for more. The bottom parts tray is bigger then I thought. The bag is the perfect size, not to big and not to small. The pockets are well stitched and are in great spots to keep everything organized.

> 3 dayIm on my second CLC 1528 tool bag in 6 years. Both times I did my research and both times ended up with the 1528. I carry this bag in and out of homes on a daily basis, and although Ive got it chock full and weighing 50 lbs. I rarely need anything I cant fit in this bag. Im a low voltage installer and this bag is perfect. I can fit nearly every tool I need in this bag, including my drill and bits/drivers. The bottom tray is awesome for all the small fittings and parts I need. My only complaints are the metal rods in the carry handle pierce through the fabric (so I simply removed them), and would not be an issue if you primarily use the shoulder strap (which I do not). The vertical support rods eventually push through the bottom, which is not cool when youre setting your bag down on someones maple flooring in their 1.2 million dollar home. The mesh zippered bag side and the opposite tape measure side both need vertical rods in the outside corners to keep the sides from deforming, which they dont have (again, Ive fixed this issue myself). All the cons aside, Ill choose this bag again when my current one needs replacing. I know its downfalls and I can live with or fix them.
