> 24 hourI just ordered 2 more transmitters today, i put one up 2 yrs ago and it has worked flawlessly, its about 600ft away. Im hoping i can get the 2nd one to work at our gate thats about 1500 ft away and the 3rd gate about 700. I changed the battery 1 time Im sure its ready for a new one .I havent had any false alarms that I know of unless its windy and I didnt mow higher gas near detection. i have called the company a few times and rate the experience excellent.

> 24 hourWe live in a very rural area with a long lane so we dont always hear a vehicle coming up to the house. We do have dogs but they arent very good at their job of alerting when someone arrives. ;-) I bought this, set it up near the front gates at the end of the lane, and it has been working quite well for the past week Ive had it. It does have a few false alarms, not certain just what is setting it off but they are rare. I am very pleased with it so far and hopefully, will continue to be so.

> 24 hourLove this product, this is our second one. Alerts you if someone breaks the beam. You just select the chime that you prefer.

> 24 hourVersatile little unit, was able to connect two pairs of the Yohii dual beam infrared sensors using Dakota doorbell switches to make a perimeter alarm across front and side of property lines (100 x100 ft ) and the included passive ir sensor for the back yard. Originally went with the Guardian but they no longer make the doorbell switch needed to interface the IR beam to the receiver unit so had to return. The only gripe I have is it would have been nice if the receiver had battery option as I like to move the unit from different rooms and maybe a rotary dial for volume adjustment ( you have to toggle button with 5 presets) The passive ir sensor works flawless once you aim it correctly and have never had a false alarm

> 24 hourI have only had it installed for a few days, but so far it seems to work great. Our driveway is about 1/4mile long and there is not a direct line of sight from the house to the end of the driveway. We have lots of trees and small hills in the way, so I chose the 1 mile range unit. You know how it goes, the range is only accurate in ideal, line of sight conditions. Even so, I half expected this not to work, but it seems to easily handle the distance. The other nice thing is that I haven’t had any false triggers either. Obviously, I will have to see if long term it can hold up to weather and how long the battery lasts, but so far so good.

> 24 hourThis brand works great but this particular model doesn’t have a volume adjustment. I need it to be loud at night and normal Volume during the day.
