Greater than one weekThe alarm came when promised. The only hard part was taking the back off of transmitter because the 4 screws required a #1 Phillip head screwdriver which was only one we didnt have. I did not change any settings inside ( filter, range or led light ). 9v battery which not included . I used the swivel mount on the out side of the house. For receiver the tune was very easy to set . There was about 8 or 10 tunes to pick from. Volume also has the off. Just keep hitting button. Alarm was catching large trucks or school buses so I adjust the position. Ill see how it does when snows or rain. I do have it protected under the roof overhang. Will update if theres a problem.

> 3 dayThe installation was very easy, instructions were well written, and the belt clip receiver is small and very portable. Not sure of the maximum range, but has no problems going through heavy vegetation for 400’. Haven’t found anything I don’t like about it.

> 3 dayDriveway alarm purchased to detect cars - apparently only works well if the car is hot.....people it detects well....buyer beware you need the magnetic probe if you want 100% car detection....

> 3 dayThis is definitely an added layer of security to our house especially if you’re working from home. It will alert you if someone is approaching your door. Easy to install. We just got it about 3 weeks ago so the battery is still good.

03-06-2025We live out in the boonies with a long driveway. We dont like surprise visits, like the cops that recently showed up in body armor with guns drawn that came to the wrong address. So that prompted this purchase, which we are well-pleased with. We have it set to a pleasant-sounding, ding dong, ding dong. It always works on cars and not deer, which is a plus. Installation took about half an hour and was quite easy. I set it about 10 off the ground in a tree to help it get through the serious amount of trees and brush between it and our home. It worked first try. Added bonus: the kids hear the bell and rush outside to greet Daddy.

> 3 dayYou have to mount those perfectly level to the area you are monitoring. I wanted to mount them high up because the last ones I had were stolen. I guess they thought they were game cameras. Needless to say I could never get them to work at any angle. Even now with them being level it’s hit or miss weather they go off or not. Very disappointed in this brand now. My old ones and the ones that were stolen which are Dakota Alert work fine.

> 3 dayThis is the receiver you want for a home. The other black receiver is more for businesses. We tried both products and family preferred the options for music (alert tones) rather than the lady voice saying “Zone 1”, “Zone 2”. But over all this brand is excellent. It is replacing an older model which I used for over 10 years.

> 3 dayYou know it’s a bad product when to adjust the settings it’s literally telling you to move chips on the circuit board. Got this as a gift and thought it was a cheap rip off, my jaw dropped when I saw the actual price. Mine would not connect to the receiver right out of the box. Tried the directions 4 more times then gave up. Can’t even comment on the quality of its performance cause it doesn’t work. Will be returning.
