> 3 dayDakota continues to be the best choice in remote alarms. I have been using them for over 10 years. This new line of products is even better than before and the range is unbelievable. Match one or two base stations and a remote if needed. The entire system is easy to program and install. I highly recommend it and Im NOT getting compensated for this review.

> 3 dayI called tech support when first installing it (it was false triggering and not sensing vehicles right). I got RIGHT THROUGH, not only that but talked to a knowledgable, professional right here in the US (Nebraska I think). They walked me through what I had done wrong and it was resolved right away. My drive is about a 1/4 mile and it does a great job of alerting us to oncoming vehicles. Thanks!

> 3 dayWe purchased the Dakota Alert for security. We positioned it on our driveway just below our gate, mounting it on a permanent electrical housing box, about 3.5 feet off the ground. Every time a vehicle or a person passes, it should signal us in the house that someone is on our driveway, but the alarm triggers only 70% of the time. Disappointed.

Greater than one weekYou have to mount those perfectly level to the area you are monitoring. I wanted to mount them high up because the last ones I had were stolen. I guess they thought they were game cameras. Needless to say I could never get them to work at any angle. Even now with them being level it’s hit or miss weather they go off or not. Very disappointed in this brand now. My old ones and the ones that were stolen which are Dakota Alert work fine.
