Perfect for cowboy boots. Not only do they work well as compression socks, but they fit well and stay up high over the calf so that the top part of the boot - whatever thats called - doesnt rub you raw. Seemingly expensive but you really do get what you pay for, in fact Im going to buy another pair right now.

Pricey, but best socks money can buy

After reading a recommendation for the Darn Tough brand online I decided to splurge on a pair of these socks for work. Ive always been the type to just buy a big bag of cheap cotton socks a couple times a year and toss them as soon as they start to get holes. After receiving these socks I wore them right out of the package for a workday and ordered enough pairs for an entire week after I got home! These things are great and worth every penny. The extra cushioning helps loads with fatigue and the fabric stays dryer than the white cotton Im used to. As an added benefit they dont trap the smell like cotton does either. If youre tough on socks, or just on your feet all day, its worth giving a pair of these a try. Ill never go back to the big bag of cotton cheapies.

Good summer sock if you prefer merino wool. White, bad choice but I still love them.

Not as expected! very lightweight construction. marketed as a work boot sock. Fit is good, however no warmth retained? probably a good spring/summer work boot sock. Put away for the winter.
