> 3 dayDarn Tough makes very good socks. I have many other styles of their socks. These however will only work for you if you have twigs for legs and very small calves. The foot part is OK, if you can get your foot that far into the sock, but the leg part is extremely tight. I am not as young as I used to be and my calves are not nearly as large as they were when I was younger. They will still barely fit in these socks. If you get much exercise at all beware. These may not work for you.

Greater than one weekJust got these socks, and my first impression is they’re very nice. Wore them on a long walk and they were comfortable and supportive. Would buy again.

> 3 dayWore a hole where my middle finger goes to pull up my socks. After 10 Years!!. Walk an average of six miles a day,6 days a week. At least 2 of those miles with wet feet! Bought my first pair in 2010 and except for a small hole at the TOP of the sock they are still awesome. I havent worn any brand of sock other than darn tough since i bought my first pair. They have outlasted 12 pairs of shoes.

Greater than one weekI’ve had these socks for a few months, I wear them about twice a week, the fit snug and over my calves up to my knees, they stay in place and protect my feet and legs from my pull on steel toe work boots. So far they appear to be durable with no sign of wear. They are amazingly comfortable compared to my other Dickies work socks which are a little thicker. After wearing them for several months I’m a believer that wool socks prevent odor. I was also concerned they would be hot, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue in outdoor 100 degree temps.

> 3 dayPerfect sock. Perfect cushioning. Perfect length for OTC. I love these socks. After getting one pair and trying them out, I immediately bought another. I wear Air Force boots all day and these dont make me sweat and they stay up over my calf. I will most likely buy them again. I also compared them to some OTC socks from Point6 and Smartwool. Although I love those brands and they are quality socks, they just dont compare to the fit and quality of these.

We live and work in Northfield, Vermont. Our backyard is the perfect testing ground to make the finest Premium All Weather Performance Socks. We ski, snowboard, hike, bike and run in the most unforgiving climate in the lower 48. It is under these conditions that we design, test and manufacture our socks.

After so many decades why do we still knit every pair of our socks here in Vermont? We don’t do it because it’s the easy thing to do—we do it because it’s the right thing to do. We do it because for us, it’s the only way to do it. There are faster and cheaper alternatives but nobody ever outsourced anything for quality.
