> 3 dayMy husband loves these socks. There to the knee and the foot has a compression affect around the arch and the rest of the sock has a lighter compression. He says they are the only socks he can wear with his cowboy boots and the sock doesnt slip down and doesnt twist in the boot so hes not pulling his socks up several times a day. They are pricey but theyre guaranteed for life and with the eliminated problems of other socks makes these socks SO WORTH THE MONEY . My husband loves them.

> 3 dayThe socks appear to have some kind of protectve coating (like a scotch guard protector) that has come off in some areas leaving the socks a weird 2-tone color. Ill probably return and request a refund.

> 3 dayThese are true over the calf socks. Stop just below the knees. They fit snug and do not slide down throughout the day. Will be buying more.

04-06-2025These are very comfortable, well fitted and breathable socks that dont make my feet sweat. Im not sure how long they will wear as I just purchased them less then a month ago. Time will tell how tough they are.

> 3 dayI now own about 8 pair of Darn Tough socks. From the over the calf to the just over the ankle ones. I have become a big fan. Price may be a little scary at first, but the comfort and durability makes it worth it. I have worn them for working in the yard in both hot and cold weather and to my surprise during hot weather my feet do not get over heated and cold weather they feel toasty. So they are all weather socks. The over the calf ones stay over the calf. I definitely feel the extra cushion in the sole as it is like walking on a nice plush carpet.

We live and work in Northfield, Vermont. Our backyard is the perfect testing ground to make the finest Premium All Weather Performance Socks. We ski, snowboard, hike, bike and run in the most unforgiving climate in the lower 48. It is under these conditions that we design, test and manufacture our socks.
STILL MADE IN VERMONT, USA
After so many decades why do we still knit every pair of our socks here in Vermont? We don’t do it because it’s the easy thing to do—we do it because it’s the right thing to do. We do it because for us, it’s the only way to do it. There are faster and cheaper alternatives but nobody ever outsourced anything for quality.
