> 3 dayThese particular model Darn Tough socks seem to run on the small side compared to the others. They do stretch out throughout the day to be comfortable though. Either way, great socks. I wont give them 5 stars until I wear out a pair and have to warranty them.

Greater than one weekIve been an aficionado of Darn Tough for several years and have always been pleased with their product and customer service-their warranty DOES work, if needed. Yes, they are expensive, but they do what theyre supposed to do. In the case of these, I needed a sock that would stay up above my calves and not be too thick to go in my motorcycle boots; and they do that well without hot spots. Though these have wool content, due to the thinner construction, they may not be as warm as the Full cushion version of these. I ordered a Large for my 11D foot and the fit is spot on. If you need a pair of tall, thinner wool socks that have a great company standing behind them, these socks are a great choice.

Greater than one weekThese are high quality durable socks. I live in Florida and work construction and my feet never feel too warm in these. They are thick and well made. They are the right height for my 8 inch work boots. Plus they have a lifetime warranty and they are made in the USA. I would buy them again.

> 3 dayI was wanting a warm winter sock to wear for work. These seemed expensive but I read a lot of good reviews and decided they were worth a shot. I wear non-insulated boots as I typically work indoors but am also outside plenty of times. These socks are a good fit and are very comfortable but Ive noticed when Im outside for a couple hours my feet do get cold. I also noticed if I go inside after being outside they cause my feet to sweat. Every time I have worn these socks, when I get home and take my boots off my socks and feet are damp. These socks may work better in the summer. I also noticed the wool is getting kind of fuzzy, I dont know if theyre wearing out already or if it is just from washing them but I figured they would have held up better than that.

> 3 dayI have a physically demanding job, and these socks are still going strong after two years. No holes, and thin enough to be comfortable in cowboy boots.

> 3 dayAfter hundreds of thousands of steps I can say without a doubt these socks are DARN TOUGH! They are like new after every wash. No holes, no loose threads. I work in a warehouse so walking is the name of the game. I don’t think I can wear these things out! They have very little stretch to them so make sure to order the right size. They are tough because they are on the thicker side, which means they can be a bit warmer. Worth every penny!

> 3 dayI primarily use these socks for hunting in Pennsylvania. They are great in warm weather in an uninsulated boot or to add some extra warmth in my 400gram boots. I have worn them in 80 degree weather and into the mid 40s with uninsulated rubber boots and feet never got cold. I love these Marino wool socks and will buy more.
