> 3 dayAfter hundreds of thousands of steps I can say without a doubt these socks are DARN TOUGH! They are like new after every wash. No holes, no loose threads. I work in a warehouse so walking is the name of the game. I don’t think I can wear these things out! They have very little stretch to them so make sure to order the right size. They are tough because they are on the thicker side, which means they can be a bit warmer. Worth every penny!

> 3 dayPerfect for cowboy boots. Not only do they work well as compression socks, but they fit well and stay up high over the calf so that the top part of the boot - whatever thats called - doesnt rub you raw. Seemingly expensive but you really do get what you pay for, in fact Im going to buy another pair right now.

> 3 dayNicely made sock, but these run very small. I bought the Largest Sock they sell. It said they fit up to Mens 14+. Im a size 14 and I couldnt get these over my heal. Sorry. A huge swing and a Big Miss.

> 3 dayIve been an aficionado of Darn Tough for several years and have always been pleased with their product and customer service-their warranty DOES work, if needed. Yes, they are expensive, but they do what theyre supposed to do. In the case of these, I needed a sock that would stay up above my calves and not be too thick to go in my motorcycle boots; and they do that well without hot spots. Though these have wool content, due to the thinner construction, they may not be as warm as the Full cushion version of these. I ordered a Large for my 11D foot and the fit is spot on. If you need a pair of tall, thinner wool socks that have a great company standing behind them, these socks are a great choice.

We live and work in Northfield, Vermont. Our backyard is the perfect testing ground to make the finest Premium All Weather Performance Socks. We ski, snowboard, hike, bike and run in the most unforgiving climate in the lower 48. It is under these conditions that we design, test and manufacture our socks.

After so many decades why do we still knit every pair of our socks here in Vermont? We don’t do it because it’s the easy thing to do—we do it because it’s the right thing to do. We do it because for us, it’s the only way to do it. There are faster and cheaper alternatives but nobody ever outsourced anything for quality.
