First, make sure you are wearing the correct size shoes. I have used these on all day backpacking trips, the most recent being in steep up and down terrain trails, with my trail runners and these socks extremely wet most of the trek from numerous water crossings. Not once did I ever come even close to developing a blister nor a “hot spot”. I have some older ones that I wear in and outside of my homes like house shoes, and they show very little wear and tear.

These are the most comfortable, softest wool blend socks I have ever bought. I highly recommend. I’m going to buy several more pair.

These are padded and super comfortable. As thick as they are, they seem to keep your feet cool. They are pretty odor-resistant as well. Highly recommended if you are an avid hiker.

Ive worn Smartwool exclusively for about ten years now but decided to give Darn Tough a try and despite less wool content than my Smartwools they are more comfortable and Im hoping itll stay that way when I get my feet wet and after a bunch of runs in the washing machine.

Very comfy socks. Love the fact theres no seam over the toes! Make sure theyre all the way pulled up before putting your shoes on otherwise theyll pull down. As long you pull them up prior to putting on shoes they stay in place.

These are the most expensive socks Ive ever bought. So far my feet are loving them, and they seem like they will last. Time will tell.
