Darn Tough Vermont Hiker 1/4 Socks Cushion

Ok, I was skeptical if these socks really lived up to their famed reputation... but I finally decided to try them out. Man was I shocked! These socks are what I always hoped a new pair of socks could be. Seriously, I buy socks all the time because I am picky about my socks. These have the perfect fit, excellent cushion, and dont get my feet too hot. Not only that but with a lifetime guarantee, you can tell they built these socks really well. This may sound strange but you really can feel the difference. All the extra attention to detail, extra layers of stitching, and high-quality materials make these the best socks I have ever owned. I plan on buying more because these are certainly worth the money!

These socks have held up after a bunch of miles in boots. Still comfortable.

Only socks i wear

Will forever buy darn tough. Im super rough on my socks honestly. Im almost never wearing socks or shoes. But I wear darn tough when the weather is a bit cold or I will be getting wet .

Rare that socks are too big for me, and these seem to have an extra 2 inches in the toes at least. The material does not seem like it will last tooany washes, but Im unlikely to find out whether thats true because theyre so uncomfortable, even leaving the awkward sizing out of the equation. Disappointed, had heard so many good things.

Really really good for light hiking. Took them new to Rocky Mountain National Park. No blisters, pilling, wrinkling, smelling, loose threading, holing, or any other bad -ing. Pricey, but worth it. I like Smartwool, but these are an even better combo.

I bought 2 pairs of these 1/4 socks, having had the full length socks in the past and been satisfied. However, in less than 10 wearing, the part of the sock covering the instep was completely worn on both pairs. I wore these socks with an oxford style hiking boot, and the activity was extremely light. Id steer clear of these expensive socks which dont last.

I often struggle with “performance” socks being too thick and too tight. These socks are neither. They fit nicely and do the job, not too bulky or too tight.

the socks are horrible quality and i just thought that’s how darn tough socks are, but after doing some reading online i’m almost positive mine were counterfeit. buy elsewhere.
