Darn Tough Vermont Hiker 1/4 Socks Cushion

Was not expecting this to be one pair of socks. They seem to be good quality if you’re looking for one good pair of socks but not it all what I was expecting.

These socks are comfortable and cool. However, after less than 20 miles of hiking, the heels began to pill badly. For the price I expected better quality. I will be returning.

I was constantly buying my husband socks as he would wear holes in the toe or heal of the socks. I bought his first pair of Darn Tough socks over two years ago. I have yet to see a thin spot let alone a hole anywhere in the socks. He likes the 1/4 socks for summer and the regular ones for winter.

Never skimp on footwear. Buy the best, get the best. These are the best

First, make sure you are wearing the correct size shoes. I have used these on all day backpacking trips, the most recent being in steep up and down terrain trails, with my trail runners and these socks extremely wet most of the trek from numerous water crossings. Not once did I ever come even close to developing a blister nor a “hot spot”. I have some older ones that I wear in and outside of my homes like house shoes, and they show very little wear and tear.

Their socks fit well and wear better. Manufacturer stands behind product in the event it does wear out, they promptly shipped a replacement pair. Better than Bombas.

Will forever buy darn tough. Im super rough on my socks honestly. Im almost never wearing socks or shoes. But I wear darn tough when the weather is a bit cold or I will be getting wet .

They are great socks I wear them for hiking and for every day love them...
