> 24 hourI’m using this for work, for a 2nd monitor to pair with my laptop. It makes my Excel Spreadsheets easy to read even when fitting a large number of columns on the screen. Using an HDMI cable makes the image much clearer than the old style VGA. It’s very bright even at 50% brightness. Love this monitor!

> 24 hourFrankly, not much of a review of the screen itself because its perfect. Might as well be a photograph. I do note the viewing angle is so wide that it has no color or picture shifting even when you look at it totally from the side edge on. I do stream video sometime on it (Amazon Prime Video, NetFlix, etc.) and I might as well be watching a TV. I Dont use it for gaming (I dont do shot em ups or GTA stuff) so cant comment about that. Specs look good, but gamers are super hard core about bleeding, ghosting, etc. so no opinion there. I will say that blacks are very black, which is good, not the funky dark brown/green/blotchy/yuk stuff. I had a SE2717H (prior model of this one) that died after being on 24/7 for over two years. My other SE2717H is going strong and right next to this one. Picture is awesome, I love the IPS screen and I can work all day on it with no eye strain. IPS is all I buy anymore for myself or recommend to others. There are slightly better technologies out there now, but not for the money, especially MY money. Screen height is the same as the prior model so they go next to each other just fine. It is not adjustable up and down, only tilts front to back so it needs to be matched in hit to, not adjusted to match another monitor. There are no VESA mounting holes on the back so it must sit on the desk. The bezel is paper thin on this one (about 1/2 on the SE2717) but appears to be just under 1/4 due to the black edge on the panel itself. For $139.99 with next day delivery, you cant go wrong. Slight difference in the two is one is hooked up VGA and the other hooked up HDMI as they are the outputs on my PC. When I swapped the cables, the slight difference moved as well. The older model is on the left and is still running after two years being on and the new one is on the right. Packaging was the Dell box inside of a larger Amazon box with padding around the Dell box as well. I LOVE my Amazon delivery guys as the boxes always arrive without even a scratch. I have MS and now work from home exclusively and have had the Amazon guys actually carry stuff in for me. I cant say enough good stuff about them. Ordered Sunday, and arrived by 9:00 am Monday. In time for me to hook it up in place of the dead one and start my day. Super impressed. Didnt expect it until evening.

> 24 hourSo incredibly frustrated with this monitor!!! It looks great and the picture quality is really nice however the power cord is extremely faulty. I thought that I just received a bad monitor and returned it to get a new replacement however I had the same issues. The power cord fits in the socket but it is not secure so the tiniest movement makes the monitor turn off. I would like to use this on a standing desk and I am certain that it will turn off if I move my desk even the slightest. I will probably be returning this second monitor I got and trying for a different brand or complaining to Dell. Its unacceptable that this monitor is so good however the power cord keeps it from even turning on and working at all. Do not buy this monitor because it seems like the power cord is an issue across the board. Trust the other reviews here and know that the power cord/port will give you issues. I think the customers on here that were happy with their monitors set it up and never touched it again or moved their screen. **UPDATE** I decided to keep the monitor And I just had to shove a thick piece of paper in the power port with the power cord to keep it secure and that seems to have fixed the problem. However if you dont want to have to fix this is still suggest not buying.

> 24 hourI mainly use Dual Monitors for work. I mostly use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I would say these monitors are a B - at best for what I do... I was hoping for far better clarity. They are an improvement over my previous monitors which were about five years old, and they work for my needs, but they are not outstanding. My sons state they are OK for gaming. I am not interested in gaming, just easy reading on the eyes, 10 - 12 hours a day...

> 24 hourEverything looks good except for the brightness and resolution. Sometimes it feels like the monitor is not bright enough. Feels a little different. I have used Acer gaming monitor before and that product was awesome.

> 24 hourI work from home (not just due to the Covid quarantine), but the docking station my company gave me only supports one monitor, when I constantly have a need to have multiple applications open to do my job. This big, but not too big monitor is perfect in that its big enough to open two applications side by side. Also its bright and looks great. Definitely recommend.

> 24 hourThis monitor appears to be a damn good deal after approximately one month of use. The picture is crisp, clear, and sharp. The overall quality seems to be exceptional. And the value for the money is better than I expected. I reserve the right to revisit the durability rating in the next few months as one month isnt enough time to fully know how the monitor will stand up. My gut instinct says its going to be okay, but you ever can tell. Overall, I highly recommend this monitor.

> 24 hourI purchased this screen as my second monitor for work. It’s definitely sizable where I can split the screen. It’s clear and brightness is very acceptable. One thing I didn’t consider is the lack of USB ports. If that’s not an issue, this will be perfect.

> 24 hourI initially purchased one of these monitors when getting set up to work from home. I wanted a solution where I could plug in my laptop via HDMI and still use it as an additional screen, but still big enough to not feel tiny compared to my dual monitor set-up in the office. Honestly, I prefer this set up now, and we have bought more of the monitors for the office to replace the dual screen setup, and are pairing these with laptop stands, so it feels less like a command center and looks sleeker! The screens are good quality, very affordable, and big enough to use in split screen mode.

> 24 hourSo this is yet another item I’ve purchased to help me through this pandemic. For several months I’ve been using my work laptop to sit and do telehealth all day. Getting a monitor this size is a game changer, all of a sudden I’m sitting upright and not hunched over a small screen. I’m not squinting trying to read small print on a tiny laptop. A great investment. I’ve always trusted Dell.
