DeoxIT D100L-25C Precision Needle Applicator, More Than A Contact Cleaner, 25 mL, Pack of 1

Ive been using this on automotive applications, electrical connectors specifically. Sometimes they get white corrosion on them. This stuff seems to work really well on that. I have also been putting it on grounds and other connections and it works great. A little goes a long ways.

I have resurrected many a vintage Hi-Fi stereo with a scratchy balance potentiometer or intermittent push button switch that otherwise was destined for recycle. Its expensive, but will pay for itself many times over.

I find this the best form factor dispenser for D100. You want to use as little as possible, as thin as possible and this bottle can dispense very small amounts, precisely placed. This bottle should last most techs the rest of their lifetime. The spray can version is cut with solvent, not full strength, and wasteful. CAIG makes lots of other specialty versions: gold, fader, etc. but this is really all you need to prevent oxidization of contacts and connections. Worth the investment. Was sold as Cramolyn Red back in the 70s. Same great stuff.

Been using this for the past 9years. Restores oxidised contacts. Used this to protect all my phones connectors (micro usb, headphone jacks etc) and does a good job of keeping the constant high charging current of micro usb chargers.

DeOxIT is amazing stuff. I restore motorcycles. A small quantity of this on electrical connections solves so many hard to locate electrical problems. It takes such a small amount that this 25ml bottle will be a lifetime supply. I have also tried the spray, but think this may be easier to use. Magic on flashlights. Just put a small amount on the battery contacts of the light and each battery. No more trouble getting the light to turn on, even when it has been stored. Seems to improve any electrical connection.

Received this yesterday and applied two drops to the on off volume control switch of my 30 year old radio and it cleared up the cracking and popping sound when I turned it on. What sold me was that it is safe on plastic. I have seen some other cleaners that work very well cleaning electrical equipment but will cause some plastics to weaken and crack. This bottle will last me a long time.

You get what you pay for. Pricey for this small bottle but it goes a long way. I have been using it for quite a while now and the bottle still appears full. Great product.
