> 3 dayFriend of mine recommended this to me. SO I got it after trying just about everything else I could think of trying to get a car with an older fuel injection system running. Applied just a drop on the contacts of three of the sensors and two of the injectors, did a little light cleaning, leaving a coat of Deoxit on the contacts - bingo - car started and has been running without a hitch since. Car is a 1993 Saab - over time electrical contacts can get a little corroded. Deoxit cleaned them right up. Highly recommend keeping a bottle available,

Greater than one weekyou get what you pay for and this stuff is a very effective corrosion inhibitor. By the nine divines this stuff is ludicrously expensive however.

Greater than one weekI swear by this stuff and have used it for over 10 years. It dissolves oxidation and dispenses dirt/grime from contact surfaces. Recently I used it on rotary switch contacts. The silver plating was no longer shiny but black from oxidation. Applying Deoxit to a cotton tipped applicator allowed me to scrub the contacts clean (back to shiny new) resulting in more reliable connections. The rotary switch is on a VTVM, so having contacts with no resistance goes a long way to promote meter accuracy. A little Deoxit goes a long way so the needle point dispenser is the perfect way to control how much of the solvent that you are applying.

> 3 dayI have been using Caig Lab products since the 1980s! Originally, their deoxydizing product was called Cramolin. They had to reformulate it to conform to new regulations. It is now called DeOxit. Available in 5% spray can (D5), or in 100% concentrate (D100L), accept no substitutes. Go to the Caig Lab web site and see which companies use Caig Lab products, including DeOxit. (Tip: one of them is NASA!)
