> 3 dayThis product came back to life my 1987 Teac EQA10MKII equalizer IN-OUT and PRE-POST switches. I was suffering last 3 years after trying quite a lot of products such as contact cleaners and the like. Tried to get parts, no way... It is the oldest equipment I own, and Im not going to replace it because it is wonderful. Thanks to Deoxit I can now enjoy the superb sound with no sound cuts, or poor contact scratchy noises anymore. Best of the best!

> 3 dayI had some really noisy/scratchy potentiometers on one of my basses and got the DeOxit to try and fix them. I put a few drops on the shafts, worked the controls back and forth a few times, waited two minutes, and plugged the bass in. The controls were absolutely silent! I had a remote control with buttons that were working intermittently. I took the remote apart and used the DeOxit on the contact pads on the circuit board, put the remote together, worked the buttons a few times, and popped in the batteries. Now the remote works on the first press of each button. I even got the DeOxit wipes and use them on my bass strings. This stuff is great.

> 3 dayFOR ANY CORRODED TERMINALS THIS IS THE ANSWER. I LIKE IT ESPECIALLY FOR CONTACTS ON CAMERAS AND HOT SHOES WHERE DIRT GATHERS

> 3 dayIve always used the DeOxit products with all my electronic gear. The problem with the spray products is that it goes every where. If you only need a small amount then I would spray a Q-Tip and then apply the liquid but this little applicator is perfect for those small tight spots. Hardly anything is wasted. The bottle is very firm so it does take a little pressure to extract the liquid. I actually like it this way; some of my other applicators are so soft that a large amount of liquid will come pouring out just holding the container. This should last much longer.

> 3 dayIve been using this stuff since the late 1800s in audio pots and switches. Audio guys have commented forever how this stuff lubes and quiets audio slider pots. My findings have always been equally as positive. I put a drop on the pots on my flight sim joystick. They are typically 10k, 90 deg ROM composition pots, doing the typical 5v thing to an A/D converter. They are often miniature pots, smaller traces, likely more prone to dirt/dust/bug poo. As expected, the drop of red stuff smoothed out the response very dramatically. What was a quarter to half volt spike with every movement of the pot became measurably zero spike. Smooth as a baby pots bottom. As smooth as any Hall Effect sensor curve. Heres the new use - I put a drop on the joysticks mechanical cams. Thats typically a machined and/or chrome surfaced cam and ride bearing affair with or without a center detent. I dont want oil or grease on these, they live in a desk mount joystick or in a set of flight pedals, constantly on the floor, being activated by the bottoms of the pilots shoes. I simply cleaned the factory supplied lithium/moly/bear fat grease off the cams and allowed one drop of DeOx to flow onto the cam bearing surface. The carrier disappears via magic pixies and apparently leaves the Business End part of the product on the metal surface. No dust collecting like with grease. The seemingly high price of the little bottle is not a factor. Man cave engineers will likely get 10+ years out of one of these bottles. Youre likely to change hobbies or die before you use up two bottles.

> 3 dayIts been more than a decade that I can rely with this product. It is the best contact cleaner, and it also protects the contacts. It is not too cheap, the quality and pricing go side by side. Recommended for those who work with electric and electronic contacts.

> 3 dayThis stuff works, Over the years it has made PCs with intermittent issue start working flawlessly. Just apply to every connector, socket, plug, addin card etc.

> 3 dayHave used this stuff for years. Its by far the best contact cleaner Ive ever used in my 30+ years in all fields of electronics. A bit pricy but worth every penny! And works far Superior on sliding potentiometers as its a bit of lubricant as well. I have actually used to oil motors when I had nothing else handy and works great for that as well.
