> 24 hourIf the contacts were made of good materials then you wouldnt likely need this stuff but, as it stands you do. I have a pair of head worn lighted magnifiers that I use for detailed work and the light got real touchy at best, became a pain to use. I put a couple of drops in as best I could and they have worked very well ever since, no more messing with the switch to try and get it to stay on. .

> 24 hourReceived this yesterday and applied two drops to the on off volume control switch of my 30 year old radio and it cleared up the cracking and popping sound when I turned it on. What sold me was that it is safe on plastic. I have seen some other cleaners that work very well cleaning electrical equipment but will cause some plastics to weaken and crack. This bottle will last me a long time.

> 24 hourI restore vintage electronics, and there is no better product for restoring oxidized contact surfaces like bandswitches and wirewound pots. Bought it before and Ill buy it again when I run out.

> 24 hourWithout a doubt, DeoxIT is by far the best product of its kind available. Ive used it many times to eliminate the noise in old potentiometers ... saving untold dollars in repair costs and probably saving lots of gear from the scrap heap since many of these were obsolete parts. THis particular supplier had a very competitive price and very prompt shipping.

> 24 hourI have been using Caig Lab products since the 1980s! Originally, their deoxydizing product was called Cramolin. They had to reformulate it to conform to new regulations. It is now called DeOxit. Available in 5% spray can (D5), or in 100% concentrate (D100L), accept no substitutes. Go to the Caig Lab web site and see which companies use Caig Lab products, including DeOxit. (Tip: one of them is NASA!)

> 24 hourI work on old tube radios occasionally. I used a spray can of contact cleaner from Radio Shack. It worked well. When it was used up I went to the antique radio forum and they recommended using Deoxit instead, as it was the best they said. I bought some, have not tried it yet. Also they said it needs to go directly on the metal contact spots, avoid getting it on the phenolic (a paper/plastic like substance) wafers, and to apply sparingly as it attracts dust. This is easiest to do with a needle dropper. It also lasts much longer than the spray cans. In general, we all use spray cans of something or other, and we all find sometimes lose their fizz or the tiny hole clogs. Not a problem with the liquid bottles.
