I was considering a much more expensive piece of backpack luggage. I chose this one because it was comparable in features and size at a fraction of the cost. This backpack has exceeded my expectations. I took it on 4 trips in the last 2 months, and it has performed very well. The 17 bag does not fit under an airplane seat but can be stored overhead. I use it with packing cubes, so its easy to load and unload. I dont like all the plastic hardware, but it has held up to a lot of abuse. On one occasion, this bag was overloaded. I used the outside side straps to tighten it down to a reasonable size. The shoulder straps are long, cushioned, and very comfortable, even when running through the airport fully loaded. I also got caught in a sudden downpour and the fabric repelled the rain. Everything inside remained dry. It can be hard to find anything, not in a cube. I only wish the interior fabric was a contrasting color. Otherwise a great travel bag.

I got this for a carry on for a month long trip to Europe. It was durable and could hold a lot. Actually maybe too much. I ended up taking it as my only luggage for 7 days in England. It held everything including my umbrella, but it was too heavy for me to wear for long. Of course, I’m a 70 yo woman so it might be easier for a younger person! I loved the packing cubes. They definitely made it easy to keep my clothes organized and they held a lot.

These backpacks are sturdy and reliable. We traveled with two of these in Europe. They were comfortable even when completely packed. The zippers and buckles work well. We really liked the fact that the packs open like a suitcase not a backpack.

This bag is very useful for short trips. I do wish that it had a waist strap because when you’re traveling and have a lot of things it can get heavy. You can fit a lot of stuff in the bag and I really appreciated how many pockets there were. Being able to unzip the bag like a suitcase helped me stay more organized and just made everything easier.

This backpack is amazing. Did a lot of traveling with it and it holds up very well and looks brand new. Has many compartments which is very useful. It can fit so many items that I use it for longer trips instead of my suitcase. It is adjustable and securely fits on your back. Comfortable so it doesnt bother the shoulders. A+ Love it!!!!!

I just completed a 10 day trip through Germany, Austria and Switzerland with only this pack full of clothing and a largish purse. I made it until day 8 before running out of clean clothes, but that was because the weather was cooler than originally projected and some of the shorts and dresses I packed were not warm enough to wear. I was so impressed with the space in this pack and it’s durability. I also love how it unzips like a carryon, so it is easy to open and find items without having to dig into it like a normal backpack. I used packing cubes with the pack for organization and it really was perfect for a long-ish trip. Jumping on and off trains, riding in gondolas, walking over cobblestones - all so easy without having to maneuver a roller bag.

I am extremely impressed with this backpack. The material is very nice and well made. At first I was afraid that it was going to look to big and puffy. However, in person it is large or puffy at all. It is actually a nice size. This is a very good weekend get away backpack. The main storage area can fit at least 2-3.days worth of clothing. You can fit your laptop and tablet safely. The only thing I wish it can do is stand up on its own when there is nothing inside. Other than that, amazing travel backpack.

Took this for a 7 day trip, my clothes, a pair of hiking sandals and my toiletries fit. It was a bit over packed and it was super heavy and would not recommend it if you have a long layover or are in a big airport that you need to walk. Overall it was sturdy and it was comfortable, next time I wouldn’t over back it so it won’t be that heavy.

I bought this to use when traveling with solely a “personal item” (under the seat in front of you). I have used this on United, Spirit, Southwest, and Frontier, and it has fit under the seat in front of me for all of them (but it’s a little bit of a squeeze if you packed it completely full.) Was worth the price for me.
