> 24 hourI am very, very happy with this hand-held vacuum. It gets in tight places, has lots of power, is easy to use, and an overall great purchase. It works in places where a big vacuum might be too hard to use. I like it so much, Im thinking of getting each of our 4 children one for next Christmas. You cant go wrong with this vacuum. Its great!!

> 24 hourI just received it, can’t speed about durability. But it came very fast, in less than 48hours from order. I cleaned my fabric couch and crumbs under table. It is very powerful and doing great job. I hope it works for years.

> 24 hourThe vac is powerful enough for most uses, and with a cord, no worries about running out of battery power. The weak link in the system is the puny filter, which clogs up very quickly when picking up dust and dirt. This seriously limits the use and defeats the purpose of having a corded vac for extensive use on bigger jobs. And what does it matter if the dirt container is large, if it all gets sucked to the tiny filter, reducing suction long before the container is filled. Air blowing out the sides can be a pain for larger cleanups. The exhaust can move the dirt around as you are trying to get to it. The onboard extension, which flips into place and gets pushed up into the vac, seems fragile, and not likely to last long with use. The brush attachment is coarse and sparse, which limits vac effectiveness on any carpet. So for me, the vac works, but it has issues that detract from ease of use.

> 24 hourThis little vacuum arrived in the mail today about an hour ago. I just finished cleaning the stairs with it and I am pleased with how much cleaner the stairs are. It is easy to use, lightweight, and has decent suction. HOWEVER: This little baby is delicate. I am not blaming the manufacturer for this, but 2 pieces of this vacuum have already broken off. First, that red rectangle in the picture is supposed to be attached. It flips down for getting into crevices. Cool! But, I thought it was just an attachment that slides off. So, I slid it off. And to my astonishment, it came off so easily that it took me several moments to realize that it had actually broken off and is not unusable. So, I will have to do without that little flip-down crevice thing. Second, that small black rubber rectangle in the pic came off as I was emptying the receptacle. Again, I was astonished because at first, I thought it was something I had vacuumed up. But, no. It came off from the inside port where the gunk goes into the receptacle. Can I reattach it? Not a chance. So, again, hopefully it is not necessary because I will be doing without it from now on. Again, I am not blaming the manufacturer, but it would be nice if it didnt fall apart with ease at the carelessness of the user. It is a vacuum, after all, and when people are cleaning, we are not always careful; we do not expect our vacuums to be so delicate. The main parts of it seem to still work, but just keep this all in mind. I mean, it was the cheapest stair-cleaning handheld vacuum available. You get what you pay for :)

> 24 hourI would say this was exactly what I needed it for if it didnt blow everything all over the floor if Im not careful. I bought it to vacuum up my swept piles of dirt, dust, & dog hair my house accumulates daily. I thought this would be easier than sweeping each stair as well, but my back disagreed with that short cut. The suction is great and surprisingly it sucks up way way more than I thought it would before getting full. The problem is the thing blows my piles of swept hair, dust, & dirt all over the place if Im not careful holding it... this doesnt make it useless bc I still am able to get the piles sucked up like I intended to do with it, I just have to make sure I hold the thing without the air vent blowing in same direction of pile which isnt that big of a deal. The canister empties well & the filter is washable & thats worked out fine so far. I am sure glad I read most reviews before buying this otherwise I wouldve definitely broke the extended red piece already. Be careful with that part. I barely even use it bc its so delicate.

> 24 hourIve owned several other Dustbuster type vacums, all battery powered. In a word, they all sucked, and not in a good way. After a few months, The Black and Decker Dustbuster would only run for 5 minutes. After reading multiple reviews about how bad the batteries for all these vaccums were, I decided to get the Dirt Devil Scorpion, a corded vacuum. Its way more powerful than any DC vacuum and picks up just about everything in my house. The cord is pretty long so I only have to plug it in to 2 different outlets to clean my whole house (1,000 sq. ft.). Ive also used it to vacuum my car since I have an outlet near my driveway. It is kind of noisy and it does blow a lot of air back through the vents. The other thing is that the filter fills up quickly so I have to clean it out 2X during my house cleaning. At less than $30, its a good deal too (Amazon Used but looked like new). I believe normal price is about $45-Still a good deal). I give it a solid 4 out of 5. Im an AC/DC fan, but in this case, AC definitely beats DC!
