Dominion: Nocturne Board Games, 144 months to 9600 months

so fun, favorite game in the series!

Dominion is a fantastic game series that I absolutelyy love. The images on the cards are stunning. There are endless ways to play the game and I love that about it. I have multiple expansion packs and hope to continue collecting it. Nocturne however is NOT FOR BEGINNERS if you have not played the regular dominion before, then this expansion will be extremely challenging. You should begin with the original then move on to Intrigue before continuing further down the road. For someone with experience, the rules were as usual comprehensive and great to follow! Also, if you do not have the original game first, you will not be able to play this-- you need base cards.

With the exception of two promo cards, I have every card for this game - thousands of cards. This expansion comes with 500 by itself. Everytime I think theyll run out of new mechanics to introduce, they make a fool out of me. Interestingly enough, there is actually a Fool in this expansion. Easily my favorite expansion by far. Also recommend picking up the free app Jack of all Dominion as a companion to this game.

I am so glad I live in a timeline where Dominion exists. I have had people I teach play the game that would typically ask. Is it like Magic (the gathering)? I have to explain to them simply that no not at all really, but its a great game to play with 3-4 players and I can teach you in 10 minutes. Setup a basic spread and every single one of them were hooked. This game is most enjoyable is you have ONE person in your friends/family that truly understands the nuance of the game and can keep the spreads and gameplay interesting while paying attention to the rules with undivided attention. This expansion delivers some engaging new mechanics and nuance. Im still exploring all the possibilities. To all the Dominion heads out there. thumbs up.

Do you like regular Dominion? if so this is a FANTASTIC addition to it. NOTE: this is just what i said previously, AN ADDITION! you will need Dominion, or the base set of dominion in order to play Nocturne. This edition has an extra phase to the game. Nocturne adds to the traditional: Action, Buy, and Clean Up Phases. A Night phase is added after your Buy phase which allows for some unique card combinations and new income generations.

One of my favorite games! I had to get them all! Another game my wife likes so a win win!

Adds an entire new dimension to the game of Dominion. Love it!

Ive been playing Dominion for years and love this set. It adds quite a bit of complexity and strategy. The game had been feeling a bit stagnant but this set spices it up.
