Dominion: Nocturne Board Games, 144 months to 9600 months

This expansion adds many new features to the game. It takes a little getting used to and more space than normal to play, but it adds a lot of variety to the game, which is my favorite part about Dominion in general.

This might be my favorite expansion!! We have them all, so that’s really saying something. Vampires turn into bats and vice versa; night cards don’t use actions; some cards give boons while others give hexes - it’s so complex! We are loving it. It’s a fun “creatures of the night” concept with ghosts, pixies, haunted objects, etc. Excellent game!

Im really pleased with this expansion, which introduces a lot of new elements to the game, all of which are fun. The heirlooms, for example, can replace starting coppers, and the hexes and boons are like randomized attacks or bonuses. Im particularly happy with a couple of cards that potentially give additional actions but dont lead to endless chains of cards.

This is one of the better expansions, the addition of night cards really shakes things up.

Im always looking for expansions for my favorite games. Nocturne fits the bill for Dominion... Its fast, its simple, and now we have things that go bump in the dark. For me, its a MUST HAVE.
