> 24 hourToddler got to an age where they were able to open these lever-handled doors. This handle lock kept them inside, and I am so grateful. We are in a rental where there is no deadbolt, and there’s only 1 lock on the front door, which the child can turn as well. We’ve found him outside on two occasions, and that was scary! I thought I had left the door unlocked and opened accidentally the first time, and when it happened again, I realized he had figured out how to unlock and turn the handle! Needless to say I was scared out of my mind that he could escape that fast, and this has helped immensely. I no longer have to worry that he’s in an area where he shouldn’t be. Also installed on for the garage door, which he is always trying to get into. My only request is that there is a three pack, because 2 probably is not enough (ideally) if you have small kids. Easy to install, and you can flip it either direction depending on your door handle design, so play around with it before taking that adhesive off!

> 24 hourI bought this product to keep my cat out of my bedroom when Im not home. Smart little creature had figured out how to open my door. NOW, with this childproof lever, I have no worries that she can bust in. Its easy to use and easy to install I highly recommend

> 24 hourI have a cat that is smart enough to open our doors. I didn’t mind it much since I was leaving most doors open anyways, but with a baby on the way I wanted to keep the cats out of our bedroom and the nursery and she constantly opened the door to the garage which was really annoying. I was worried about how these would work because the levers on our doors go down on both sides when you open the door, so I thought we might not be able to use it on the garage or while we were in the bedroom, but we just leave the stopper under the handle out and the one above the handle open so that she can’t pull the lever down but we can pull it up to open the door. It’s been perfect for us

> 24 hourTHIS REMOVAL METHOD WORKED FOR ME: We have wood doors (not solid wood) with one layer of primer/paint. 1. Use a 3 foot piece of dental floss. Double over so you have a 1.5 foot long piece. Use the floss as a saw between the door lock and the door. The goal is to cut down the center of the adhesion strip (to cut between the puffy foam part between the two adhesion strips). The goal is NOT to cut between the adhesion strip and the door. 2. Once you have sawed off the door lock, I used my fingers to SLOWLY roll the remaining adhesion upwards. I didnt rip anything off, just slowly and gently worked the adhesion tape upward so as to roll it over on itself. This took five minutes, but all adhesion came off. Some door types may require some goo-off product. Mine did not.

> 24 hourThis lock is amazing! I have a 3 year who is devilishly smart and found a way to open the door while the chain high above is in place while waiting for the this new lock to arrive. Our old lock from Lowe’s (only place near me I could find a latch lock) failed. The old one required me to remove the door handle to place the lock which caused all kinds of malfunctions with the physical door itself. It would either pop open or not open at all causing us to be locked inside. After maintenance had to replace the handle twice I knew I needed a better option. Best lock for this handle type I have purchased thus far. It’s super easy to apply and it works perfectly even though I put it on backwards by accident. When I stuck it to the door I even wiggled it around using significant force to check durability (my toddler can be a mini hulk at times), this device is rock solid! My peace of mind is restored while doing simple things like cooking or going to the bathroom knowing that even though I can check on him every few minutes (it only takes a second for them to run and open a door) this curious little boy can’t escape. It works so well he doesn’t even try anymore after having this for about 3 months now.

> 24 hourThis does the trick! Stops our little one from opening doors and love that it has both the up and down stopper. However, the distance between the two arms seems a bit large and could allow enough room for some door levers to unlatch. We installed one with the lever in the middle and it had enough room for our son to unlock the door but not open it which seems a bit too close for comfort. The rest we installed with the stopper touching the lever on the bottom but once he figures out how to open the door by pushing the lever up it will be game over for these.

> 24 hourI was frustrated whenever i’m in my room and my little brothers barged in while i was focusing on my work. I’ve tried many different door jammers from a steel bar jammer to a portable door lock. The problem with my door is that the lock can be opened with just a coin and i’m not planning on changing the locks. And whenever i jammed the door with those stuff, they would still be able to turn the knob and take a little peek inside. Once i got this product and installed it, they can’t even turn the knob. I’m so happy with this purchase and I’ll put more around the house especially in the bathroom since they like to barge in while someone is in the shower.

> 24 hourI didn’t even take these out of the package because as soon as I looked at it I realized this will only work if you have individually moving door handles, which I do not. You will not be able to open the door from the other side while this mechanism is in place. It’s a great idea and I wish I could have used it. Idk if there already is something on this to hold it down but at the very least there should be a way to “disarm” this for when you leave the house, like make it to where it doesn’t block the handle so you can get back in at LEAST.

> 24 hourThese work ok. My door panels are I guess youd say concave close to door handle. I make them work but can only work if I lift handle up instead of down. It gets the job done for now until my 21 month old grandson figures it out!
