> 3 dayIt took me longer to unpack the box than it did to get it up and running. And the scanning of a document is so incredibly fast. Very happy with this purchase thus far.

> 3 dayI absolutely love this scanner. I owned one of the original Doxie scanners, and am thrilled to have the newer model. This scanner can copy a lot of pages (up to 20) back-to-back and very quickly. The OCR function enables me to read data into Word and Excel. This function alone has saved me days of work on some of my projects. The newest model has a much improved and seamless installation process, a very useful special feed for items that are of unusual size or thickness, and a very sturdy construction. What I really love is that it can outpace all the other scanners Ive had for productivity, but it has such a small footprint that it takes up very little real estate on my desk. I highly recommend it!

> 3 dayIt was easy to set up, easy to scan, even little cards, and the software was perfect. It worked so much better than the all-in-one printer that I used to use from a major company.

Greater than one weekI’ve had Doxie scanners before … the wireless one most recently. I was not using the wireless feature. Saw the DOXIE PRO and had to try it. WOW! It is fast and easy! I scanned five pages front and back so easily and fast fast fast. If you scan much at home (or work for that matter), you have to try this one. It will scan up to TWENTY pages at a time, front and back, and place the scan on your computer. Just do it!

> 3 dayThis is a superb scanner -- small footprint but large capacity. Scans both sides of pages and many pages at once with a separate area to scan different size/weight paper/photos. Very quick, smart, and intuitive useful software. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayWe are prepping for an overseas move and I recently realized two things: 1) I didn’t want to risk decades of memorabilia (photos, drawings, documents, etc.) and files getting lost or damaged in transit; and 2) I really wanted to shrink the physical footprint of all this “stuff.” I decided it high time to digitize. We had a couple of scanners already in our household—well, devices with scanning capabilities anyway: one printer/copier with a decent flatbed scanner and a printer/copier with auto feed capable of duplex scanning. But neither was ideal for scanning hundreds of photos (a big chunk of my pile) or had the speed necessary to turn my daydream into reality in an efficient manner. I checked into professional digitization services, but couldn’t didn’t want to send my items away for weeks. Again, I was leery of something going wrong in transit. And even if someone else scanned everything, I was still going to have to sort through it all at some point, organizing and separating the true keepers from the “yes, it’s time to let this stuff go.” So I found myself hunting online for a duplex scanner with multi-page auto-feed, one equally good with photos and paperwork. Enter Doxie Pro. The cost was kind of hard to justify at first. I’m the kind of person who generally believes in spending the least amount of money necessary to get something done—and did I mention that we already have two other pieces of equipment that have adequately met all our scanning needs up til now? But when I counted up exactly how many photos/pages I wanted to digitize and estimated the cost for any of the online services I’d looked into… I found myself in the same ballpark as simply buying a Doxie Pro. Huh. I could avoid the shipping risks, get things done at my own pace (in other words, *guarantee* it gets done before we leave the country), and once the project was done, I’d be left with a pretty darn cool little piece of equipment to either carry along with me or pass on to someone else. So I went for it. And wow. I was initially sold on Doxie Pro by the online reviews, but the real thing, sitting here on my dining room table, has exceeded my expectations. Super easy set-up. Amazing customer support. (Not that I’ve needed it; this thing works like a dream. But Doxie has checked in with me a couple of times since the unit arrived—in a non-invasive, friendly way—to be sure I am happy with the product. Any questions? Feedback? They seriously care.) I made the mistake of showing off my amazing Doxie Pro to my sister, and now she wants to have a scanning party for her own memorabilia. I suspect my mom may be the next in line. So just beware… Once the word gets out that you eliminated boxes’ worth of old memorabilia and actually had fun doing so, friends and family may start asking to borrow your Dixie Pro, too. You may find yourself torn between wanting to help them out and wanting to keep this little gem all to yourself.

> 3 dayWell I’ve had it for two days and this works better than any printer/scanner I have ever purchased. I know it’s not a printer but it’s the best I can compare with. Every printer I have ever had( your experience is probably similar) never works like it should. The Doxie connects right up, no extra bloatware with it like most printer/scanners. I’ve probably done close to five hundred scans so far and I’m impressed.

> 3 dayRunning a small mowing business in the summer time with a lot of receipts. My wife and I also manage two rental properties. One of the rental properties just got a remodel and there were a lot of receipts. The doxie scanner made turning all those receipt into digital very easy. The software is very simple to learn. This scanner is very fast scans both sides at once in seconds. I have not use tech support so I did not leave a rating for that.
