I am originally a Doxie One owner so coming back for a newer model was a no-brainer. This portable scanner is very solidly built and is simple to use. The Doxie software is incredibly easy to follow even for non-technical folks. The target audience for this model is those who have stacks and stacks of documents that need to be digitized quickly and painlessly. The auto document feeder works great and the two-sided scanning is flawless. The software will automatically avoid capturing the back of a document if it is blank. Overall Im extremely happy with my purchase!

My prior experience with scanners had been with those included in all-in-one machines. The comparison between that scanner and the DoxiePro would be the same as a 2 year olds water color vs. a Van Gogh painting. I was set up in under 5 minutes - plug and play. The software is great, intuitive. LOVE the 20 page capacity auto feeder that automatically scans BOTH sides of the paper FAST! Also has a great direct feed slot for pictures, business cards, etc. Whats awesome about this is that when you scan a picture, it scans only the picture, NOT like on a flatbed where is scans the 8x11 field, and you then have to go in a crop the crap out of it. And the auto adjust features are spot on. Also, you dont have to scan and save each file/photo one at a time. If you have 50 things to scan, you can scan them all, and they will be held on the Doxie software until you go in there and decide to organize them by saving them into their final destination - which can be a harddrive, cloud, etc. I was tired of looking at the same box of over 1,000 pictures for 11 years after a relative passed and left them to me. It took me a few hours because you do have do the photos one at a time, but I banged them all out and am now clutter free. This scanner is awesome. I did suggest to their CEO (yes, the CEO) when he called me for feedback, that it would be nice if the Pro version had an SD card slot, but he brought up a good point, that the the quality may be not be as good by default. So if having to be hooked up to a computer is the worst thing about this, I am fine with that. BUY THIS!

Running a small mowing business in the summer time with a lot of receipts. My wife and I also manage two rental properties. One of the rental properties just got a remodel and there were a lot of receipts. The doxie scanner made turning all those receipt into digital very easy. The software is very simple to learn. This scanner is very fast scans both sides at once in seconds. I have not use tech support so I did not leave a rating for that.

Love the ease of use of this scanner. It is compatible with Mac which big plus for me

The Doxie Pro is the third Doxie scanner Ive owned in the past decade and is by far the most flexible and feature-filled. It takes seconds to scan a stack of papers into Evernote, for example. I just run them through the document feeder and it automatically determines if individual pages are single- or double-sided, black and white or color, then staples them together in a pdf. Then its one click to send them to Evernote (or wherever you want to store your docs). The software is intuitive and has a very clear look & feel. The other feature I love is the direct feeder for thicker paper, photos or business cards. Instead of feeding from the front and coming out the back, it feeds in the front and comes out the front, so you can put it at the edge of your desk and not lose papers out the back. The portability, the feeders, the software and Doxies terrific customer service make this scanner an excellent choice.

It was easy to set up, easy to scan, even little cards, and the software was perfect. It worked so much better than the all-in-one printer that I used to use from a major company.

I’ve had Doxie scanners before … the wireless one most recently. I was not using the wireless feature. Saw the DOXIE PRO and had to try it. WOW! It is fast and easy! I scanned five pages front and back so easily and fast fast fast. If you scan much at home (or work for that matter), you have to try this one. It will scan up to TWENTY pages at a time, front and back, and place the scan on your computer. Just do it!

As an IT professional who has supported scanners from the competition, Doxie is still my scanner of choice at home. The Doxie Pro has turned out to be a device that is as fast and nice as some of the best rated scanners out there, but with even better software.

I was impressed with environmentally conscious packing, it was easy to set up and the instructions were very clear and easy. Although I did not need any customer support, I received emails checking to make sure the set up went well or if I needed any help. No additional software to download, no complicated instructions. I am truly impressed with this little machine - Doxie!!
