> 3 dayI purchased Dragon 11 from Staples, not the student edition but the full price package. I have the box in hand, the disk, and the Quick Reference Card, and I paid extra for the blue tooth device. I have spent 2 to 3 hours trying to activate my product and appearantly I dont have a valid serial number. I cant even find one single place on the box or on the disk that says Serial Number ...... or S/N Thanks to Nuance for wasting my time and money. Your customer service and ease of set up is a total disappointment. I sure hope a competitor enters the market soon and takes your business away. You dont deserve any financial success you have reaped over the years, if this is the way you treat customers.

Greater than one weekI have to admit I was a bit nervous ordering the student/teacher version of Dragon, given all the negative reviews because of the difficulties that people had activating this product. But as I sit here writing this review using Dragon NaturallySpeaking premium 11 student edition, which took less than 30 min. to install and activate, and extremely glad that I gave it a chance. Im not sure why others have had so much difficulty, but I certainly did not. Please note that this version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking requires proof of academic status either as a school staff person or a student, without verifying the status you will not be able to activate it. I would highly recommend this version of this product to other school staff members and students.

> 3 dayBUYER BEWARE- Sent in all the required information to register the product. The website says an email was sent with the serial number. No email was received. Called Customer No Service. They are of absolutely no help. They say they do not have access to the serial number. Told to use Live Chat. I tried. I wait in the queue a couple of times only to be cut off with a message someone would get back to me. Too bad I cant review the product, but it is not possible to activate it. VERY FRUSTRATING! Edit: After numerous tries to get on Live Chat, I was finally able to contact them. They emailed me the serial number. The original email had not been received. Now that I can actually try out the software I may revise my review.

> 3 dayI bought this last year and didnt install it right away, when I did and tried to register it on the registration site the response was not for use in the United States. I didnt see anything that stated that in the advertisement of the item so beware of software at bargain prices, it may not be the bargain you are expecting.

> 3 dayHorrible and a huge waste of time. Bought it for my son and even after training the software for several hours to recognize his voice it was at best 50% accurate. Years ago I worked on a car navigation system that used speech recognition. I worked on the map database but used the system often doing testing. It, like Dragon, works best on a adult male voice. But even that system nearly 20 years ago recognized womens and childrens voices much better than Dragon. Oh and the included headset is junk too. When you complain they tell you to buy a better headset for another $100 or more. Save your time and money this thing is junk. Oh and even on my voice it was only about 70% accurate. junk junk junk

> 3 dayNuance yes.... I got this originally to help take notes in lecture classes but it does not translate other people talking just you. That didnt work and you had to read a page or more for it to recognize your voice .... really that long... and its hard to delete from your system. Might work for some but not for me.
