I bought these to help store acrylic yarn in sealed plastic bins. Acrylic yarn is known to hold moisture, then mold or smell strongly of mildew as a result so I wanted to avoid that. So far, after roughly a year, it has done its job. Granted, I misplaced the bag so I wasnt able to replace the packets just yet. But no mold, and no mildew smell so my plan has been achieved! I plan on buying a larger packet size bag here soon.

Bought old stock from china of security cameras, Inside these PTZ cameras are big packs of dessicants but they smelled horrible and the lens was fogging up. Bought these to shove inside the cameras housing and voila problem solved!! No more stank plus I dont have to worry about a short circuit. Plus theres enough in the package to not care about where you use them. Cheap and Great.

I drop these in the spices I carry in my camp kit. Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and steak seasoning. When the gear is in storage and while I camp, it is subjected to extreme temp/humidity changes throughout Wisconsin seasons. As a result the spices would cake and sometimes even be damp. No longer. I am not quite sure how long they will last, but this pack came with 50 packets and they are cheap enough to toss and replace (each 1g packet comes to $0.14 a piece at my purchase price). If they last 1 full year (the individual packets in use, that is), I will likely just toss and replace them anyway just as preventative maintenance. Excellent product and the more you buy the more you save. This is my go to brand for silica gel packets and has been for a number of years. Happily a Repeat customer.

Stuck these into all of my spice containers -homemade and store bought rubs, garlic & onion powders, peppers, etc. All the stuff that sucks in the moisture and gets clumpy or hard in the jar between uses. Works pretty well. Still some minor clumping on some, but overall much better than without them.

I am no expert but I presume these are working in the context I am using them. The product seems to be manufactured excellently and the zip-loc packaging is both well done & sure seems to make sense. At this point; would definitely purchase again.
