This was my second purchase of this item, so thought it was past time for a review. These little packets are used to keep moisture from building up wherever you put them. I use them for craft purposes, putting them in the bags of my finished product to be sure to keep them dry. I also toss them in my plastic bins of fabrics and other crafting supplies to keep moisture low. Overall, very happy with them, and will continue to purchase this brand.

I used them to keep in my Ammo Boxes (I use them to keep small electronics in), Dry Boxes (I use them for the same reason) and in anti-static Laptop bags. Their well worth the money to keep your stuff dry in the temperature changes and humidity level changes often when your storing especially Electronics or anything you want to keep from rusting. If I was a hunter I would keep some in my Gun or rifle case to protect them also.

Keep things nice and dry

I ordered this not for food prep, but for craft items that will need to be stored for a long time. I wanted a cost-effective, light-weight means of keeping moisture out of a fabric craft that is stored in a plastic bag. This did the job! Ive popped one in each bag, then tied off the bags. It has been a hot humid summer, and so far, no condensation or any problems on the bags. (Yes, we have the A/C on all the time, but it has done almost nothing this year.) Definitely handy. It was shipped quickly, and the zip-top bag they come in means I can reseal without worrying about wasting any of the packets.

Bought old stock from china of security cameras, Inside these PTZ cameras are big packs of dessicants but they smelled horrible and the lens was fogging up. Bought these to shove inside the cameras housing and voila problem solved!! No more stank plus I dont have to worry about a short circuit. Plus theres enough in the package to not care about where you use them. Cheap and Great.

I dehydrate my own food and put them in jars. Sometimes there could be just a little bit of moisture left so I put one of these in the jar for about 10 to 14 days it does make a difference. I also put one in my brown sugar container it helps.

Firstly I should say that they are delivering exactly what they list. Aside from that, I think the manufacturer needs to change their packaging procedure. These packs come in a sealed bag for obvious reasons - Its necessary to cut the top off the bag with scissors before you can access the zip-lock opening. But the factory seal is so tightly in line with the zip lock opening that you have to cut it open just barely above the zip lock closure. This means it becomes difficult to grip the bag to pull part the zip lock seal. I think over time it could result in damage to the zip lock closure after repeated open/close cycles. The manufacturer could fix this issue by making the top of the bag slightly taller and ensuring the factory seal is only at the very top of the bag, leaving at least 10 mm of clearance above the zip lock closure.
